Participantcalling Sami a "slut", "whore", and the list goes on and on. Sami pales in comparison to the "real tried and true" sluts, whores, etc., in Salem. It all depends on who you like and who you don’t.

Participanttalking to John, he said he was sending his "boss." Although he did not refer to him by name, that was Shane.
I don’t think Stefano ever authoirzed or even knew that Harmon wired the safehouse with the bomb, but I believe he (Stef) certainly meant to have them think if they didn’t turn over the coin, they were going to die. I think that was all Harmon’s doing.

ParticipantTo watch a show most of us have been invested in for most of our lives has been, or is continuing to be, destroyed by poor writing and everything else you mentioned, casey. Another huge part of the problem is that they write too far in advance. There is no need for any script on a soap opera to be three months ahead of the actual air date. Most of the time, even if Corday and/or company finds that a storyline is completely failing, it’s been scripted too far in advance to change it. I’m sure there’s a reason for it; but, for the life of me, I will never appreciate it "Tweaking" certain already scripted parts of a storyline only means that someone decided they didn’t like what was about to happen, so they changed horses in mid-stream, making those who like spoilers (present company included) go bat-sh*t crazy, because what they read and thought WILL happen WON’T.

Participantbut personally I liked what he said about Sami being his sister and Madison needs to "shut her mouth"; that’s still his family. You go, Brady. Never liked you two together anyway. Maybe Madison should stand up to Ian like she does everyone else. She’s all mouth with her "competition" but she’s the poor, scared little freaked out girl with that skinflint Ian. Please — I’m ready … it’s time for Madison to hit the road as well. Another destroyed character. And Brady, you constantly running your mouth about how despicable Ian is, that you don’t believe him, and that he can’t be trusted, yet you accept a drink from him and then walk outside to get some air leaving your drink on the table directly in front of him. What did you expect, you nitwit! Anyway, at the very least, you should have realized that when you began to sweat profusely and were extremely agitated after returning to the hotel room, that you had been drugged. No lesson learned, Brady, from the days of Nighttime Hope and Doc Baker??? Umm-umm-umm — and we have to watch all of this til August? I seriously don’t know if I’ll make it.

Participantalthough I am glad to know that Kat was eliminated. She was extremely manipulative and insincere, and finally got a taste of her own medicine. Good riddance, girl.

Participantthe bomb has been DISARMED …. so what’s wrong with walking out the door before the timer gets down to BOOM?????

ParticipantThese horrible writers were taking beloved characters, ignoring their history, and writing them according to their own seemingly closed and untalented minds, destroying them in the process. When I say ‘no one was paying attention,’ I truly mean it. This last combination of writers that was just fired, that most boards refer to as "Mar-Dar" are responsible for the mess we now see before us, and evidently Ken Corday or Sony or NBC didn’t pay attention or noticed too late that their writing caused the ratings as well as DOOL to take a nose-dive. By the time someone decided to step in (NBC I presume, according to one of these writers) and take the reins back from them, it was too late. The barn door was left wide open and the horses (the tried, true and terrific characters we all once knew and loved) WERE GONE!

Participantlove it even more that he didn’t bring Kimberly with him.

Participantwonder if she ever got him to marry her (LOL). Since Mimi (FF) was also involved with Rex Brady on DOOL before she left, this might just be perfect casting. Funny that John Paul’s name on OLTL was "Rex" (Balsam), too. Makes it pretty obvious to me that, if this rumor does happen, they could not have chosen a better actor to replace Eric Winters as Rex, although I was hoping at one time that they would bring John Paul to DOOL as "Eric" Brady, but I’ll take him as Rex, since he has worked with FF on OLTL, as well as her RL fiance. Just hope they don’t bring his real life mother on at any point in time. Those who watched Dirty Soaps will remember, he was a real mama’s boy! LOL!

Participantas they make it all too obvious who their favorites are, and they certainly are beginning to bug the voters, IMO. They can’t continue to push their individual favorites down our throats (like they do with certain characters on DOOL). No one wants to be told who they should keep or who should ‘never be voted off’ (like J-Lo did last night with Jessica, or Randy does every week with Joshua, and Steven with Skylar. I think Hollie has a wonderful voice, and have loved her from the beginning. They finally acknowledged her last night, but still raved about their favorites like it was supposed to influence my vote. Not happening, guys.
I like Phillip’s voice, but he’s a hoot to watch, because he always looks like he’s constipated when he goes up for the higher notes. Makes me burst out laughing. And, really, lose the guitar for a change.
Skylar, like Joshua, seems to think that screaming a song makes you better. Believe me, it doesn’t. Her softer ballads are much better.
Joshua, same thing. I’m not saying he isn’t talented, because he is, but that Sam Cook song he sang a week or two ago was his best performance for me, because he didn’t look like his eyes were going to pop out of his head from "yelling" the song, and some of his "runs" are soooo unnecessary.
Hollie is a great, but she is too lacking in confidence. She always feels she has to one-up the girls, and it leaves her in a vulnerable position that causes her to make mistakes in pitch or range at times. I still love her, though.
Jessica is my favorite, but as with Hollie, sometimes I think she feels she needs to keep up with Joshua to win, and she doesn’t. All she has to do is open her mouth and sing. IMO, no one can compare to this young lady. She is going to be a huge star when this season ends, whether she wins it or not.
I would certainly hope Phillip goes home tonight, but my guess is he won’t. I miss Carlton so much. He was the whole package for me.

ParticipantShe just finished telling E.J. last week or so how much she still loved Rafe, now she’s jumping in bed with Lucas, and will probably still be lending a sympathetic ear (and perhaps other parts as well) to E.J. in a short time as well. I just hope we can keep track of these musical lovers who are in love with one person on Tuesday, and cheating on them on Wednesday, etc., etc.

Participantin that it was Jaleel White who got eliminated, not Rochon. As much as I love Maks, Melissa Gilbert just does not have what it takes, and Jaleel White is a better dancer than Melissa Gilbert any day. I do wish Maks would stop grabbing the men’s butts though. Doesn’t make him look too manly, IMHO. As for Jaleel White, he should learn when to speak and when to shut up and dance. His criticism of the judges did not go unnoticed, I’m sure.
Patti
Participantsomewhere around the last week in April, so that would put her on screen until mid-to-late July (Ugh). Too bad she doesn’t blow up with the safehouse.
