YAY!! Shane is here! He looks just as handsome only a little more gray than that little gray streak he used to have. He did age you can see that I’m his face but he’s still one handsome guy!!

I liked Kim when she was on as a regular but the last couple of times she returned she really left me cold.  Maybe it is like when Marlena and John returned, well, Billie too.  They weren’t very appealing at first but then got better.  Maybe Kim just needed to be on longer.

I think Charles looks much older than he did the last time he returned (and much greyer), but, oh yes, still very handsome.  He was always one of my favorite characters.  I hope he stays a while.  I’m surprised he hasn’t lost more of his accent after living in the US for so long.  But then, he wouldn’t be our same ol’ suave and lovable Shane, would he?

But now I have to say something about difusing that bomb.  Could that have been any more laughable?  All they had to do is cut two  wires, how complicated was that.  And good thing the Harmon used the correctly colored wires or that could have been a disaster.  Oh, my eyes are getting so sore from rolling so much lately.

Also, what in the heck was that house made of that they couldn’t talk to Roman through the door?  And they were pushing on it to keep him from opening it.  My front door opens out, not in.  But then, maybe because they aren’t in hurricane country.  Anyway, that whole thing was so stupid and laughable.  And if the cell phone signals were jammed, I’d think the walkie-talkie’s would be too.  Hope wasn’t so smart.  I thought of putting a piece of paper up to the window telling Roman not to open the door.

In snow country doors open in-otherwise they get blocked by the snow, but other than that it was prwwty lame, and if paper could go under the door, noise should have!

I was thinking the same thing about the paper under the door!  No way that Roman couldn’t have heard them.  And why would a safe house be soundproofed? So they could have a loud party while they’re stuck in there?  How would they know if the enemy had discovered their safe house and was sneaking up on them?  They wouldn’t know what hit them.

I’ve never seen a front door open out except for the storm door or as we called it when I was little "the screen door" but the solid door meant to keep the elements and people out always opened in.

When Shane and Kimberly got back together didn’t he say he was leaving the ISA so he’d be home with his family?   Wonder what happened or is this something the writers seemed to overlook.

and just can’t stay away.  Maybe the ISA is like crack cocaine and you just can’t give it up.

I think it’s kind of funny that Rafe was FBI, then Salem PD, PI, and now ISA.  (Kinda like alphabet soup!)  That boy can’t seem to keep a job.  He’d better make a go at this or the CIA will be the only thing left for him.

Same here in the midwest.  My storm or screen door opens out and the main door opens in.  Never seen a main door open out in this part of the country.   Guess it depends on where you live.    Cell phones and walkie talkies don’t have anything to do with each other.   The cell phone needs towers etc the hand held talkies go direct to each hand held.

(I don’t know about other hurricane states.)  All outer doors must open out.  That’s to prevent them from blowing in during a storm.  It was very difficult to get used to when I moved here, especially when someone comes to the door (especially on Halloween), you have to open it out, right into them.  But then, everybody here is used to that and stands clear of it.

When you see those things advertised on TV that you slide under the door to keep drafts out, they won’t work here because they’d just fall right off when you open the door.  I’ve wondered why they don’t mention that you have to have a door that opens in on the ad.  Maybe they don’t care if you order one and can’t use it.  They still keep the S&H if you return it.
