as DeeLan did above, that it could very well be that she is having another bout with her MG, and the sudden weight gain could likely be the side affect of her meds.

when John walked in, I agree; but, if you consider the fact that she had time to catch the ferry back but instead chose to go through a history lesson with John about their lives, missing the ferry back, and then settled in before a nice, cozy fire remeniscing how happy she was once upon a time, then absolutely she was once again causing him to doubt her insincerity.  "Salem is a small town" …. really …. then how is it that she always seems to know where John is going to be?  Beats me, but let’s move it a little, writers, and get to the point when Marlena comes to her senses, even if her husband doesn’t, and give Kristen what she’s asking for …. no holds barred!

there was no way Daniel was going to allow her to continue with the lying.  I’m just glad that E.J. was there, since he obviously had plans to arrange an "accident" for Daniel and Nicole in Hawaii.  But I don’t doubt for a second that he will, at some point, seek revenge since, after all, it was his child.

unless they change the character dramatically after this storyline, Nicole Walker has always been a plotting, revengeful, manipulating, vodka swilling villain, and her crocodile tears did not penetrate with me.  Don’t get me wrong, AZ did a fantastic job, and yes, I may have felt a tear come up into my eye during her rant, but she threw as much manure at Jennifer as Jennifer threw at her.  Also, she knew she was a high risk for even carrying that child, yet she continued having sex with Daniel whenever and wherever she could.  Maybe that caused her placenta to burst, who knows?  She purposely sought to grate on Jennifer about "her and Daniel" every time she was in Jen’s presence, knowing it would bring out Jen’s claws and they would wind up in a huge argument; maybe not all the time but certainly enough times that I can remember; and finally, yes, she planned to send Jennifer to jail just to get her out of Daniel’s life, and it would have worked like a charm and her and Daniel would be on their way to Hawaii if he had not sought out and found Dr. Sedwick, who enlightened him to the truth.

As one can probably tell, I have never been a huge fan of Nicole Walker.  Now, Ari Zuker is another story.  If that woman doesn’t receive an Emmy for this performance, no one deserves one, because no one in soaps could have given that quality of a performance any better.  Beautiful job, Ari.  I’m sure by the next couple of weeks, Nicole will have forgotten everyone and everything that she caused to herself, cuz Father Brady will kiss it and make it all better.

He was Father Tobias, played by the actor who played on Mash.  Ralph Waite, the actor who plays Father Matt on Days, was the one on The Waltons.

I would rather watch your historic video clips than the daily destruction that my beloved Days of our Lives has now become.

and it’s not just us, it’s all over the boards.  I read a lot of them, but only post to this one and it’s a universal opinion of fans everywhere.  I really am beginning to question what’s going on.  I don’t even look forward to the show anymore.  I tune in from force of habit every day, and when it’s over I kick myself for even bothering.

a rare muscle disorder called Myasthenia Gravis.  Her medication affects her facial muscles and at times makes her feel ill and her face appears swollen.  She was forced to quit the show after 11 years when the effects of the disease became increasingly worse.  Her entire appearance changed, and she did not return to the show for a year.  When her health improved Suzanne returned to DAYS.  Rogers, wanting to educate viewers about the disease, confronted executive producer Betty Corday about her character being diagnosed with the disease.  Corday agreed, and a storyline played out with Maggie learning she has Myasthenia Gravis.  I think she may be having a set-back, because she does appear to have gained weight.

I find it extremely irritating that he is questioning Marlena’s and everyone else’s accusations regarding Kristen’s "popping up" everywhere he turns, and now seems to be convincing his own mind when she does, it’s merely a "coincidence" and not that she has an agenda.  This storyline is pure frustration to me, to say the least.  I hate to think about what’s going to happen today.

I continue to pray that God spares any and all who have been subjected to this very powerful, very devastating super-storm from any further harm or stress and to keep everyone safe from what I understand is another Nor’easter on the way this week, but nothing compared to "Sandy".  I’m praying it changes course and goes out into the Atlantic and does not affect our coastline.

I can only imagine how being without power this long must be for you and your family.  God bless you, and I hope your power will be restored.  I take it that since you stated that thankfully that’s the only problem you have, I hope that it means your home was saved from devastation.  I’m praying for you and everyone else who has suffered.  May God continue to watch over you and the very best of luck to you and yours in what obviously is a very stressful time in your lives.

But, you are right in that you have not missed much with the show.  Thankfully, this will be the end of the Nicole/Daniel/Jennifer storyline.  I will not miss this one at all.  Not much else to talk about.  The show seems to have two speeds right not …. slow and stop!

but I would much rather see her in some perilous adventure pitting Sami against Kate.  Now, the three of them could really draw my interest in some juicy, combative storyline.  That I would like immensely, I believe.  Her chasing after John, turning Marlena into an unrecognizable, insecure twit just turns me off.  This is not Marlena Evans, and never will they convince me otherwise.  Get a grip, writers …. do some research and put these Humpty Dumpty’s back together again.

I saw Sami even hold a conversation with Daniel, probably when Johnny had his ridiculous eye cancer storyline, and mostly that was over E.J. trying to keep Sami from Johnny, and not because of Daniel’s miracle cure.  Now she’s determined to find out why Nicole dropped charges against Jennifer, and thinks Daniel needs protection from Nicole ruining the good doctor.  Last time I checked, Daniel was a grown man with a mind of his own, and certainly not in need of everyone from Sami to Victor to Maggie to Jen, etc., trying to "save" him from Nicole.  Then, to have Nicole tell Sami it would be good for her to leave with Daniel, because it will keep her out of Sydney’s life.  Huh?  When was the last time Nicole even talked to Sydney let alone bond with her?  And, OMG, please don’t even get me started on Brady’s actions.  It’s ludicrous.

that it’s just despicable the way they’re writing Jen and Marlena as well.  These gals have been so downgraded when you look at their history.  Marlena will, I’m sure, turn into a paranoid mess since Kristen returned, and I have no doubt she will take on a personality depicting her as a weak, crumbling mess.  Adding to that, they’ll probably turn John into a sympathetic backer of Kristen, the thought of which makes me wonder what in the world these writers are trying to do.  These set-ups of Kristen always popping up wherever John seems to be is getting on my nerves.  I would rather see Kristen and Kate going at it then have them turn Marlena and John into characters we simply will not recognize.  As for Sami, at least they are writing her true to form.  Everyone else seems to be like looking at a whole new character entirely.  Jennifer has become practically unwatchable, and so has Nicole.

is that SONY, NOT NBC and certainly NOT Corday Productions, is running the show now.  If they are no longer interested in putting forth the effort to save this soap, it will not be saved and NBC and Corday Productions are simply acting as the pall bearers, staying with DAYS just long enough to carry it to it’s grave, which will be next year if the network decides not to renew it.  How very, very sad.
