Harper Devereaux? I think that was Jack’s dad’s name. Was he still alive when Abigail was born? The timelines on Days are so confusing. Or is it possible Gwen’s mom made up a fantasy story and we’ll later find out it was a Dimera or something like that?
I’m also from the south, and although I don’t really have a Southern accent, I hate fake ones. It’s like fingernails on a chalkboard.
Two weeks ago when Steve started to get a clue, I seriously thought he’d ask Kayla to do a DNA test on him. That seemed logical, but apparently the Salem brain stops just short of logical.
I’m still not a fan of NuJenn. I just can’t get into her. She does dress better, but that’s where it stops. I don’t see any chemistry with her and Jack.
I am wondering what the connection is with Charlie and the glasses. Is he some sort of Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde character? When he first came in the show, he wasn’t wearing glasses, so maybe he does think the glasses will throw Allie off.
I totally agree about Brady and Chloe. I know that they are exes, but there’s no rule that you have to kiss anyone at midnight. Why did they think they had to? They could have just raised their glasses in a toast. You know this is totally part of the plot.
One thing you didn’t touch on which bothered the heck out of me was Chad and Gwen. So you think your wife is cheating, even though she isn’t in this hotel room, so you decide to cheat on her with the nanny. Give me a break! Who the hell does this! Why hasn’t he tried to call Abby? Truly the worst storyline and I can only say I’m glad Anna has a clue because no one else does.
So Camilla Banus recently got engaged. She went to FL for an engagement party, while she was not working, and got Covid. So no one on set has had contact with her. They are currently on a two week break for the holidays, but the governor of CA has called for an additional two week break from filming because of rising Covid cases in CA. Therefore, Camilla should be recovered from Covid before filming resumes.
As for her character, I heard she was supposed to be back by the New Year. However, that didn’t happen. I do hope they’ll dump this Jake and Kate storyline soon. They have no chemistry and I’m just kind of grossed out by the whole thing. I think in the end, Jake and Gabi will be back together, but the writers are dragging their feet. I assume it’s to get through the yuckier storyline of Gwen and Chad.
California has some regulations in place regarding the number of actors can be on one set. When they went back to work in September, it was two. There was a scene with three people, I think Chad, Abby, and Kate, and they actually had to edit it because they really only had two people in at a time. I’m sure they can have more people now, but it’s still a very limited number.
I think I heard that the DNA test said Tripp and Henry had a 70% familial relationship. So, then wouldn’t Charlie’s DNA be a higher match?
Of course I’m on Tripp’s side because we all know that there’s a Charlie connection here. However, it does make light of a rape victim accusing the wrong guy. I really wish this is not how we brought back Tripp and tied him to Allie.
The fillers in her lips are not working for her. I hope whatever she’s had done, settles down soon. She really doesn’t look like herself.
I actually like the new writers when they cam to the show, but they’ve been pretty pathetic for the last year. I liked the time jump, but then it went down hill. I thought with coronavirus they’d have had nearly 6 months to write some really exciting storyline, but no, it’s the same old stories recycled through different characters.
