Well someone called Stefano to say that Bernardi had been shot…That could be the person whoever that was.

Anyone think of Anne for some weird reason? That somehow popped into my head….I know it makes little sense but does anything on this show make sense anymore?

I so agree. Jack has evolved and these scenes today show both performers excellent acting skills.

Many hated Abby over the months but she too is a talented actress who can truly show many sides. She will be devastated with the death of her dad and go through great guilt likely that she is responsible, which will show more of her amazing acting talents.

RIP Jack…..We will truly miss your zaniness but most of all your human and tender side.

Just guessing some of the casualities would be Madison, and by what has been noted it could be Jack.

Gabi? It would be nice. Beyond that who knows……

If Stefano is not returning to the show then it cannot be him.

I was thinking one of either John Black or Kristin DiMera.

If either wanted to take over the DiMera empire this would be the chance with EJ out of the way…

This really sends a message to girls that to get a guy they have to resort to underhanded means. They cannot win a guy with charm and just being really nice. They have to change radically and dupe a guy to make them love or admire them.

Days often goes this route rather than letting sweetness win out. Just lazy writing rather than developing a relationship through normal methods.

I told my mother (who watches the show) of this post and she said sometimes there is a phone there anyway, even for the nurses if they are in the room. I never had a phone as it had to be paid for.  I am in Canada and maybe it is different though the last time I was in the hospital for any length of time was 10 years back and maybe things have changed.

I also thought it odd they would forward the call to a room where the patient is in a coma, but hey this is Salem and strange things happen in that city….

That kissing scene at the end was totally contrived and stupid that it makes the characters totally pathetic.

Rafe of all people would not do something like that, and even though Carrie in the past has been part of affairs, it really was lame plot strategy.

As for Will, that kid can act circles around most of the cast. And Sami’s expressions and reactions and despair gave her a chance to shine as she always has.

All around great day other than the ending which we obviously will now have to deal with the repercussions and the marriages that are about to go on the rocks…..

For all the negatives about this show, today’s show with the veterans was one of the most moving episodes ever. I think they were all vets. You got that sense.

Matthew’s performance was extraordinary and I wish Days would let him be this serious character all the time now. He has great timing and puts his heart and soul into the role.

This is what Days has been about over the years, moving movements that brings tears to the eyes. We remember these much longer than the silly plot lines that fade faster than winter snow.

Yes the act made no sense. But Will’s reaction without words showed a first-class actor. The scars he will bear because of this you can see and the disgust he feels for his mother will simmer for a long time.

But after the act as much as we acted it, the look on Sami’s and EJ’s faces without words told a story too. The impulsive act to somehow soothe their tortured souls is something they will regret and without words spoken, you can tell how guilty they both felt and shamed as well at this act after the thought their son had died.

Yes we will see lives change after this, because eventually Rafe will find out, and whether Will can or will forgive is another thing altogether. It will have a bearing as well on his own sexuality as we see his storyline progress.

I was expecting Sami to maybe get involved with Austin at some point but this with EJ is so illogical and out of left field. But we have to live with the powers that be who figured this was a relevant development. It stinks and just when we had more faith in the show than in years, they decide to give us this curve.

There are still many other positives that hopefully will dull the impact of this dud development.

It is too bad Chloe is leaving because Brady and her would have been interesting getting back together. They interact well and Chloe for all her faults is an interesting talented character.

Kinsey I always liked as an offbeat character, a bit ditzy, but still with a heart of gold and with strong allegiances to those who she befriends.

Maybe one day they might return. Hard to say, but at the moment it seems the incoming cast member trump the ones here now, unless of course after all the hoopla dies down for their return, and ratings once more decrease.

With only 4 soaps surviving as of another month or so, at least Days will always be in the Top 4, something we would have been proud of when there were still around 10 left. Sad to say it seems the networks are quicker to pull the plug on soaps than anything else, replacing them with much less expensive fare.

He is too wimpy to be an attacker like that. Make more sense for the DA as his wife was prostitute at one time and he would be the logical one to have a vendetta against them. More sense too in lieu of the fact the DA does not want the Salem police to investigate.

Oh well, nothing is logical on the show sometimes…….????

Well on today’s show T freaked when Kinsey said she didn’t want to be friends with benefits any more.

Now this could begin a psychological thing here with him resenting women and wanting to hurt them, because he has been rejected.

It also could play into the gay storyline if indeed he may be the one now as his sexuality has been questioned and he now seeks solace with Sonny even though he seems to resent homosexuality in general.

I doubt it is Quinn. I think they may rehabilitate him and make him a fan favorite over time

I am not about to get into the morality of the situation here.

I am also not about to condemn anyone for their choices.

I don’t like people who smoke, are alcoholics and are 200 pounds overweight. But they exist. They made a lifestyle choice to do this and am I so morally superior just because I don’t drink, smoke and are thin, that they I think myself better than them. Of course not.

As the son of a gay parent, I love my mother just as much as always. It does not change anything. My mother was always straight and in my opinion as the result of an abusive and domineering mother (her mother), who always made my mother feel guilty over dating again (after separating from my mother), she changed.

Are we born this way or do events happen? I think it is sometimes a bit of both.

While I am not doing cartwheels over the storyline, we cannot turn a blind eye to reality. I am sure if the writers see the storyline bombing or viewers rebel in numbers, they may rethink the plot or let it fade into the sunset. No matter what they have branded Will, unless they decide later he is bisexual.

    Time will tell.
