Well someone called Stefano to say that Bernardi had been shot…That could be the person whoever that was.
Anyone think of Anne for some weird reason? That somehow popped into my head….I know it makes little sense but does anything on this show make sense anymore?
The knife (actually it looked like a straight razor) disappeared before the police arrived. My guess is that one of the hospital security guards is also on Stefano’s payroll. There were a few security guards in and out of Rafe’s room immediately after the shooting (one even looked like he could have been the crooked cop’s brother).

As to who might have taken the knife, I’m still remembering that one of the nurses seemed to be kneeling by the wounded Bernardi and sneaking something away. So, I’m thinking it is likely to be a nurse, security guard, or another dirty cop. I think it is unlikely that it is one of the regular characters on Days.
As I recall, there was a security guard that reall struck me weird. He acted suspiciously right after the shooting. I bet he works for Stefano and he went in and got the blade.
or that CSI cop/detective Hope was conversing with. There was a point in time, when Hope and Abe carelessly left Kate and Gabi in Rafe’s room, and Kate sort of looked down. That’s all they showed, but immediately thereafter she decided to leave and went straight to Stefano. Someone is setting Sami up to take this murder rap, that much is clear to me.
Ann came to mind for me too, as did Maxine. Kate is really sticking in my brain too for whatever reason.
If she would mind her own business she wouldn’t get in all her messes.
If she thought Rafe’s head felt warm, it was not her place to take care of him. The nurses are there for a purpose and she didn’t take the time to call one of them. If she had to fire that gun, she could have fired it in the air. STUPID WOMAN, she never thinks before she acts.
