Didn’t we hear Eve was going so if there is a Daysaster then maybe she will be dead as well in
    whatever mayhap occurs.
All the good ones are being killed off and the dull ones live to bore us another day….

I really appreciate everyone who commented. There is strength in numbers. Many have had similar
experiences and you do the best with what you have.
My mother was a big fan of Days for almost 20 years but now in the nursing home she cannot watch
it. I tell her every day what happened and she seems interested. She still knows me but cannot
communicate very well verbally as the Alzheimer’s has taken the communication area of her brain.
But she does nod and change facial expressions when I tell her the latest Days news.
It will be interesting to see how it all plays out killer wise and how many beloved characters are
going to exit because of this or just changes in story direction.
Can’t wait to see who the killer will be though Ben seems likeliest at the moment.

I can honestly say I never met my father. He married my mother, got her pregnant (with me) then announced he
was going to England to be with his parents and demanded my mother go with him. She refused and he simply
walked out and never came back. He never gave child support and never tried to get in contact with me. I wonder
if he told his parents they were going to become grandparents. No one tried to ever write or call. I have no idea
if he is alive or dead. He would be the same age as my mother who is 86.
Do I miss never meeting my father? Not at all. I am an only child and so is my mother so we are all we have left.
Mother is in a nursing home with Alzheimer’s.
You cannot miss or grieve for something you never had…..

I know there were a lot of Paige haters on the site but for the last while the actress acted her heart out when she found out how deceitful those in her life were. True was one great little actress and it would have been nice to see her alive and working out what happened with her Mom and JJ. The road to forgiveness would have made a good plot but obviously the new writers were looking for another direction. I wish True well. She was a classy young lady and has lots to offer in the world of acting down the road.

Paige really showed the simmering talent that has been waiting to explode. She gave one heck of a performance no denying that. You feel so sorry for her, this shy girl who has been through so much betrayal and manipulation from Eve and then it is her turn to alternate from victim to aggressor in her quest for answers and revenge.
JJ betrayed her as well and we knew it would be a matter of time before the truth came out.
The question of whether she can ever forgive anyone is the main thing now and whether Cole will waltz right in and
come off as the knight in shining armor when his motives are totally tarnished as well.
Should make for an interesting summer storyline depending where the writers want to take this.

I remembered most of the people and character names but some I had no idea who they were.
It would have been nice to note the character as well they played.
Watching it reminded me why I love this show still and why I will continue to watch it as long
as NBC keeps it on the air.
Thanks for this amazing tribute Jason

I like JJ. I like the actor. But we are almost being forced to hate him for his stupidity.
I like JJ and Paige. I think they are a cute couple but the writers do not always like
happiness in Salem so they have to muddy the waters so to speak.
Whether Eve is redeemable is another question. I love the actress and her portrayal of
a mother spurned who wants to control her daughter and everyone else’s life.
Like the other posters said, Eve may see the light if JJ saves Paige from Cole who is
nothing but trouble with a capitol T.

This is beyond a stupid plot line. They hate each other and they go to bed three times.
JJ has no redemption now. Once okay but again and again like they are in heat. Take a
fire hose and hose them down.
I thought JJ and Paige were cute together but then again no one has too much happiness
    in Salem these days.

I really don’t understand what some of these wars between the Dimeras and Kiriakis was all about way back when
each was getting in the other’s territory or whatever.
Victor is into shipping and owns the territory. Shipping what? They said they were not touching drugs so what is it
they were really shipping? And why does a rich business tycoon like Victor was legitimate companies want to be part
    of this?
Then Clyde hits town and wants to own the territory. EJ gets supposedly killed because he did not want to expand
the territory as Clyde hoped for.
So what is it all this insanity is related to? Shipping precisely what?
Am I missing something or just not paying attention.
I assume Clyde survives this but I question why Victor would have to go to such drastic measures to get rid of the
competition. He is certainly going to back to his murderous ways that take a page out of Stefano’s playbook.
Sometimes all this is just too much

I forgot that Melanie lost a child and perhaps somehow Theresa
who lost a child (but does not realize it) and Melanie may settle
their differences and actually show humility and humanity to one
    another.
I know Theresa deserves no sympathy but how many characters
on the show we not love were once as despicable as Theresa has
been and became fan favorites and decent people through
accepting their faults and mistakes and having other forgive them
    also.

Love her or hate her the actress emotes very well from one second to the next.
She has great range and today with the rattle and the tears really made up
feel sorry for her for one of the rare times.
Surprised that Anne was not there to offer her pathetic two cents worth. It will
be interesting to see how the baby story plays out if Kristin shows up with a bundle
of joy in March or whenever her scenes begin.

Well they found the perfect way to break up Sonny and Will.
Sonny certainly can do much better.
Paul’s baseball career is obviously over, because of his shoulder and arm.
But obviously nothing is wrong with his bat.

He looks amazing and all that hair makes me jealous.
He still has the same charm acting chops as always.
Ciarra is a great little actress and reminds me of the
thought of “A child shall lead them.”
Nice to see some sobering dialogue instead of the usual
    nonsense

For some reason we get a character we can empathize with who has overcome obstacles
in his life and then they do this. Can’t they be any more creative than this. I would not
have minded JJ’s friend (can’t think of his name) going after her and maybe having an
affair but JJ who is sworn to only love Paige..this is absurd.
It is true this cannot be undone it is not a dream sequence and the second time makes
it worse than the first. I thought immediately of her crying “rape” and if they do that
it makes this plot even more pathetic. Forget any happy couples in Salem. The writers
do not know how to write happiness into storylines it seems.

Don’t people in Salem have better things to do with their time?
Obsessing over lost loves and those they don’t stand a chance
    of ever getting back with?
The citizens need hobbies or good counseling as suggested above.
Some days they make Nicole seem like a genuinely good person
with good intentions but it does not take long to throw that idea
    out the window!
