You are right, for me it said 5 new messages, but there was only 3. Not too big of a deal, probably just a glitch in the code.
She will get child support from EJ for two kids and Lucas for one kid. That alone would help. Then she will have Rafe who will most likely end up as a police officer, so he will be helping out with the bills. In addition to that she has John’s money and you know she is not paying rent or anything else for living at her mother’s place. Ironically the place looks very similar to the place Steve & Kayla lived – lol
But yes, I see no reason for Sami to work, there is no way she could make as much as it would cost for daycare for those three kids. She doesn’t have a skill set that would give her enough money!!!
But every time I have seen a soap cancelled, it has always been the bottom one in the ratings, right? Where Days has never hit rock bottom… it could have for a week or too, because I don’t pay attention to the ratings each week. Of course that bottom gets closer whenever there is one less soap in the mix.
Any time I see a new message and click on it, I always find a post with "New" next to it. Is there a place that actually says "New" on the main menu? I probably skip right by without even noticing – lol
I personally feel the role of Will has never been played by the right person. So I am hoping this recast is a good recast and portrays Sami and Lucases child much better than the last couple actors.
Brady works for Victor – he doesn’t just live off of Victor.
Maggie owns that place which where her money comes from, plus Mickey is a lawyer
Mia works at Java Cafe
Melanie works at the hospital and she probably has grants and stuff for nursing school
Phillip was working for Victor, but has since quit and has been looking for other jobs
Lucas was working for someone before he left, I forgot who though, he would probably still work that job
She has a lifetime contract, so maybe it isn’t the writers, but more of that. I imagine when she passes away in real life she will pass away on the show shortly after that. With her contract she is probably getting paid still and therefore killing her off on the show would not be right.
As for Mickey, I think right now is not the right time for Maggie to lose Mickey. She is turning into the new Mickey and once that transformation is done, I then see them doing that.

I don’t think TV shows have to mention all holidays. Plenty don’t. I really don’t see Days not addressing Christmas at all. I think we will have the normal ornament and Christmas story. While we only had a slight mention of Thanksgiving, I think they will pay more attention to Christmas.
You can’t force actors to stay on a show all the time if they don’t want to. My understanding is they only want to be on there once in awhile. They like travelling and don’t want to be tied to the show too much.
She stated either today or yesterday about how she is not one to judge since she has pulled her fair share of stuff. I am glad she just doesn’t ignore her past and has true remorse and understanding it was wrong.
I was gone for awhile because I was really far behind and therefore was not able to post. So I came in here just to check on everyone and there is a new board!
Glad to see everyone made it over and I am also glad that we will have so many more posters. I also like the seperation of spoilers and non-spoilers discussions. This is great!
