If Sami is off looking for E.J. for a year or two (our time) and returns only to find him right there in Salem (and her kids are grown up by then) all kinds of story lines can be spawned if the writers want to go that way at that time. I don’t know how long James Scott and Allison Sweeney want to pursue ttheir other projects. There has to be a time when they will want something less ambitious than the big screen.

You are right Bonbon, over the many years I’ve watched Days I have accepted things that would turn my head completely around in the real world. One of my favorites is when they took the actor who played the bartender and in a short time made him into Roman who we know today. I’ve never really adjusted to that sudden change.

I am also really pleased they are treating with respect the sets, characters and connections from the past. I hadn’t hear the name Martin mentioned in many, many years. That goes for the name Susan, who was Julie’s rivel for Davis Martin a very long time ago. I hope they do more in that direction, I would love to see some actual characters come back (yes, I know David is dead; maybe they can take Susan out of the mental ward, or wherever she ended up).

that Ben belives he can frame Chad by puting the neckties around Chad’s place; now he thinks it is o.k. to throw them all away because Chad has left the country. But that leaves the big question of why he is dreaming of killing Serena. That is such a clue that I cannot think of a solution to, unless he thinks he is the killer (really sick guy) when he isn’t. Maybe Clyde is the one, but right now all clues point to Ben.

As for Dan, I think that scene in Marlena’s room was just to throw all of us off and leave everyone wondering if Ben isn’t it.

Will is sure to die, Clyde may die when he discovers his little boy is the killer and Ben has to remove him. I don’t know, these are just thoughts.

Ben NOT being the killer may be the big shock after Friday’s episode. I hope it’s Clyde and Rafe put a few founds in him before this is all over. But I thought I read somewhere that Clyde dies before the real killer is brought down.

o.k., I didn’t mean for it to post without what I put inside..sorry about that.

I just said that after today’s show, we now know that Ben is the necktie killer; but why did the writers think this would be a shock?? He has a bad temper and is controling. He hates Chad and wants to bring him down in Abby’s eyes. But what part did Daddy dearest play? He called someone from the club when Chad ran after Sarena, so he must have had either Ben or a henchman helping frame Chad. What goes there? And Paige called J.J. the night she was killed and said she had come across something J.J. needed to know. What was that about? Did she know who the killer was?

But then again, growing up in THAT family, they had seen and heard a lot. I would think that being mature early would be normal in the situation.

I am more interested in how the fluid Kristin was injecting in E.J. would get around his body since his heart wasn’t beating and hadn’t for a while. If they bring him back hours after his heart has stopped, his brain will be mush. But this is a soap, not real life.

like an extension when it was long. I actually thought the shorter cut made her look younger. But it was only a few scenes so hard to really tell.

I have watched from the very beginning. I could walk home from school and hears the Days of Our Lives music playing on all the televisions in the homes in our community.

I’m you are right that Days is doomed, it is being murdered by that large writing staff that cannot come up with an original idea. The talent among the general public could produce more original scripts than what the Days staff is producing.

    The original programming now

Thanks for the comments. I wasn’t sure if anyone was interested in the sl about Nick back from the dead. I have read that spoilers would be few; but I was not looking for real spoilers, just some ideas from those who watch regularly about how they think this might play out. To be honest, although I have watched Days off and on (mostly on the first twenty years), I have had feelings about it’s future. With Bo gone and other long time characters retired, I suspect that Days may in the next several years go the way of all the others before it unless they can find a way to stimulate interest. Nothing lately is likely to do that. Sorry if that huts or offends anyone.

The writers have trashed the character. Before they had him get on prescription drugs and go nuts over Mel, he was a nice guy. A sweet-heart who wanted a girl friend, but the girls never liked him. Nick back then was brilliant and kind. I think they just wanted someone to play the crazy bad guy to Will’s sweet good guy, and Nick got to be it.

I really feel for the people affected by the super storm as I’ve been through a number of hurricanes and a few tornagos over the years. My problem is the show. I am really not happy with the story lines lately.

Remember, she didn’t want to return; then she told John she came back to make thrings right with those she had hurt (now that she is changed). It’s all a setup to make other let their guard down.

He has lied, tricked, twisted, and used her so many times it is like watching a moth returning to the flame, a bad car accident about to happen, each time Samil returns to E.J. WRITERS: Please, please no return to E.J. That man should be alone for all the bad things he has done to women. If anyone should be with him, it should be Nicole. She can work him over in the same ways he does others, just as he deserves. They look much better together too. Like a match.
