I cannot believe that she is going to get away with everything again. That is so insane…..I hate the way they writers are taking these story lines…so unbelievable…..If days goes down the tubes, and I think it will, it will amost be a relief. I have watched for 40 years and its at the point where I don’t care about it any more. It is so far removed from the Days of Our Lives of long ago that it is not recognizable. It used to be that I used to run home to watch it at lunch time….that is how excited I used to be about it. I still tape it but its more to ff through what I don’t want to see than because I am afraid to miss something. I end watching maybe 10-15 minutes of each episode. What a shame. We have such terrific actors and their efforts are in vain. It must be painful for them too to go through this stuff day after day.
I have watched from the very beginning. I could walk home from school and hears the Days of Our Lives music playing on all the televisions in the homes in our community.
I’m you are right that Days is doomed, it is being murdered by that large writing staff that cannot come up with an original idea. The talent among the general public could produce more original scripts than what the Days staff is producing.

After John recovers Eric could refile the charges. It does not matter what he said. He could claim extreme duress.
When DOOL started, many women were staybaat home moms who wanted to be taken away to al life very different than the one they were living. Stories were full of romance and some mystery plus tension. It was full of love, betrayal, break up etc.
Life has changed so much in 50 years!!! Today the TV is filled with "reality" tv that are done from scripts and over over the top "drama". Most women have busy lives with work and family. They already have plenty of drama in their lives!!!!! SO writers feel that they need to push the envelope to "entertain". I feel that this is one reason soaps are disappearing. I hope DOOL survives, only time will tell.
