What I don’t understand is why the writers thought Ben would be a shocker; unless he is really covering for someone. But the neckties under the bed really explains things a lot. I hope Abby catches on soon and doesn’t leave town with him.

o.k., I didn’t mean for it to post without what I put inside..sorry about that.

I just said that after today’s show, we now know that Ben is the necktie killer; but why did the writers think this would be a shock?? He has a bad temper and is controling. He hates Chad and wants to bring him down in Abby’s eyes. But what part did Daddy dearest play? He called someone from the club when Chad ran after Sarena, so he must have had either Ben or a henchman helping frame Chad. What goes there? And Paige called J.J. the night she was killed and said she had come across something J.J. needed to know. What was that about? Did she know who the killer was?

Daniel be involved? That scene in Marlena’s room was strange. He looked so menacing.

Abby lives in the same apartment as Ben with his “damning evidence” under the bed and, unless she never cleans there, wouldn’t she wonder what that was doing there? Certainly there must have been a better hiding place there.

I’d be willing to bet the farm on that.

Ben NOT being the killer may be the big shock after Friday’s episode. I hope it’s Clyde and Rafe put a few founds in him before this is all over. But I thought I read somewhere that Clyde dies before the real killer is brought down.

But I seldom clean under the bed. No one can see it and it’s a great place to shove crap I don’t have room for. So, she could easily skip it. She just moved in with him too. I seriously doubt that she’s snooping around looking for stuff since nothing he does is on her radar. Normal people would be out of there. He’s obsessive!

But if not, Clyde would work and Ben is covering for him. I think they both have some guilt in this. As for Clyde dying, I can’t wait. I can’t stand him, he’s so darn creepy. I get nauseous every time I see him, especially around Jennifer.

but I agree with casey’s thoughts on Dr. Dan….why????  He’s always been portrayed as the "good guy".  Even if he held a grudge on Serena for everything she did to Nicole, what would he have against Paige?  He truly liked Paige, and she babysat for Parker.  As mentioned, ad nauseum now, this storyline was promised by too many people, from TPTB to many soap news medias, to reputable mags like TV Guide and I think even some very believable soap opera websites, that the "killer" would not be revealed until November; that he crashes the bi-centennial; and that when everyone feels safe, the murders will pick up once again.  Too many saying the same thing is why I cannot believe the "real" killer has not been exposed yet; thus, it’s NOT BEN!  I also don’t think it’s Clyde.  Now, did one of them attack Marlena — yes, by all means that’s a probability rather than a possibility — Ben knew that Chad was in the hospital, and though it wasn’t explained (what is on a soap), I think either Ben or Clyde (perhaps both) knew that Marlena was trying to help Chad or that she was working with the police to do a profile of the killer.  So I guess my thinking is that Marlena was attacked by either Clyde or Ben, but only to frame Chad.  Now, did one of them kill Serena and Paige…..I don’t think so! We are supposed to see Serena’s actual murder on Monday, so unless I see either Clyde or Ben’s face, I’m going to continue believing the real killer is someone else altogether.

that Ben belives he can frame Chad by puting the neckties around Chad’s place; now he thinks it is o.k. to throw them all away because Chad has left the country. But that leaves the big question of why he is dreaming of killing Serena. That is such a clue that I cannot think of a solution to, unless he thinks he is the killer (really sick guy) when he isn’t. Maybe Clyde is the one, but right now all clues point to Ben.

As for Dan, I think that scene in Marlena’s room was just to throw all of us off and leave everyone wondering if Ben isn’t it.

Will is sure to die, Clyde may die when he discovers his little boy is the killer and Ben has to remove him. I don’t know, these are just thoughts.

that he actually believes he is the killer.  He’s created his own dark fantasy in his mind because of his insane jealousy over Chad and his belief that Abby still loves Chad (which she does).  I may not like her, but I’m pretty concerned for Abigail and her baby.  I think it’s just a matter of time before Ben attacks and/or kidnaps her.  I think Ben’s fantasies bring on these dreams, and they began once he thought that Chad was put in jail and therefore out of his way, and that gave him some kind of maniacal satisfaction to dream up this whole scenario that he is the killer.  I don’t think he is really the killer, but he imagines it, and in his sick mind, he is.

Remember when Marlena thought she was the killer but everyone was on Melaswen?  It’s possible Ben only thinks he’s the killer.   You know who would really be a surprise?  Marlena.  No one would believe after the possession and the Salem Stalker storyline that she could be the bad guy yet again!  Maybe Ben is trying to frame Chad but the real murderer was Marlena all along.  I know it doesn’t make sense since Chad saw someone run out of her office but if they really wanted to surprise people they should cook up a way to make Marlena evil once again.

The actress that played Serena has mentioned her murder scene in quite a few interview. Until Ben dreamed of her murder, we the viewers had never seen it. If Ben is not the killer, then who is? We saw the dream with the necktie. The only way Ben could have such vivid dreams with all the props would be if he were the killer or he witnessed the murders. If he’s a witness, I would think the killer is Clyde. I know some of you want a twist, but I dislike Ben so much that I really do want him to be the killer.

several people look guilty right now, but I’m going to throw two more people in the fray: Abe and Justin. They are both gunning for Chad so strongly, plus Justin is definitely out to prove himself career-wise. I’m not saying they are working together on these murders, but something about them in Tuesday’s show made either of them seem like a possible killer candidate in my eyes.

but maybe it is Ben and he has a split personality (DID) and when something tics him off, he goes back and forth between good (Ben) and evil (Ollie).  That’s the only way I will accept it is Ben.
