"DAYS" BRINGS BACK ICONIC SET THIS SUMMER!

The Horton Kitchen set was seen for the first time on November 12, 1965, in just the 5th episode of "Days." It continued to be seen throughout the decades, and began to be used less and less in the 2000’s, eventually being phased out altogether. The kitchen was seen one last time, when Salemites returned to say goodbye to Alice Horton, for 6 episodes which aired from June 17-June 28, 2010. Three years have since passed, and now "Days" is bringing back this iconic set, which joins the Horton Living Room set as two of the longest-running sets in television history!

that is great.   Some of us were around when they had those first shows.  I started watching it from the beginning.  Oh the days of Julie and Susan and David Banning.   Laura and Mickey and Bill triangle.  Alice and Tom the anchor of it all.   Dern miss it.

I am also really pleased they are treating with respect the sets, characters and connections from the past. I hadn’t hear the name Martin mentioned in many, many years. That goes for the name Susan, who was Julie’s rivel for Davis Martin a very long time ago. I hope they do more in that direction, I would love to see some actual characters come back (yes, I know David is dead; maybe they can take Susan out of the mental ward, or wherever she ended up).

This is a post I made from 2013. Don’t know why it was responded to now.

Susan only spent a little while in jail. She stayed in Salem until 1976. Had a daughter Annie, with Eric Peters, and last we heard they all moved to California.

and now I see the date you originally posted, but somehow it didn’t show up on our board til now.  Still, it’s great seeing some of these old sets.
