I think Rafe being madly in love with Carrie and the quick change to Sami is just due to the writing staff changes – and I welcome them!
I think Lucas coming back made sense – for the Will is gay storyline. I think the brief Lumi do-over again was due to the writing change. Perhaps having Lucas back now, he can be developed as a character – his relationship with his mother, maybe help his half-sister Jennifer thru her loss, as a parent to both Ally and Will (two "children" whose needs are very different), and maybe even in a career wherever he is now working. I think it would even be better if he stayed on at Countess W with Sami and they were friends (without the benefits) and business colleagues, and coparents.
As I’ve noticed this for a while, and thought, this isn’t a time to smile/smirk! I’m wondering if, as DeeLan said, maybe that’s just the way his mouth is. Now I have to look in the mirror and see what my mouth does!!
Jason, are you saying this is the announcement announcing the arrival (and now viewing) of the writers who started in April? Or is this an announcement of the firing of the writers who started in April?
I’m wondering if he even knows about Jack yet. What I would like? To see some of these single people (Jennifer, Daniel, Nicole, Brady) actually stay single and uninvolved for a while – you know, like in the real world!
All I can think is that, for those just (re)starting to watch, it’s a shout-out: here’s how these two are related, she’s his mother, he’s her son, etc. But it just didn’t seem genuine (and I’m not even sure the actor felt comfortable with the words!)
And that’s why I loved it! I thought Melissa Reeves and Kate Mansi were absolutely superb today. And Bonbon mentioned the two best (from an acting perspective) scenes. Can’t wait until tomorrow.
So, lots of familiar names in/out. But, how does one decide to replace writers when their writing has barely even aired and you have no ratings to see how successful/unsuccessful that writing was received? Maybe I’m just naive?
It seemed that she did a 180! But, then again, that wouldn’t be the first time she (or anyone else on Days) did a 180.
They definitely do NOT require fingerprints for passports. The only time I have ever been fingerprinted was when I applied for a job with the NSA (National Security Agency), and that was 35 years ago.
on file? I can understand Hope (she did go to jail) and John (ditto). But all of their fingerprints are on file with the Salem PD? Even Will’s??
