I think Peacock should continue offering it for free after DOOL leaves NBC at least for some period of time – 6 months to a year. This gives viewers a chance to make the leap from tv to streaming. After that start charging, if numbers go down that’s the end of Days.

I watch Days on Peacock now if I miss it on broadcast tv. I stream it on my tablet, phone, or tv. It’s FREE to watch on Peacock. However, will they start charging for it once it is exclusively on Peacock ? If so, the stories need to be top notch if I have to pay for them. Also, the other content on Peacock needs to be worth paying for, in my opinion.

I’ve read that Marci wanted to leave to spend time with her baby as well as take on other projects. She had to turn down some roles due to her Days commitment. It doesn’t matter why she left, only that, if her contract allows, she can do so. It’s just like most people in any line of work can decide to leave a job when they want to (assuming no contract obligations).

However, when someone leaves a job, the employer is going to move on to do what’s best for the organization and its customers. In Days situation, they decided to kill off the character since her upcoming storylines required her to be under contract. So, that leads to the question of what those future storylines were? Were they all scrapped because Marci left and now they have to write a new storyline about her death and who killed her? In my opinion, they should have replaced Marci with a new actress to play the role of Abby and just moved on.

I think the final shot of Leo hiding in the closet grasping his bag and all shaken up was to throw us off. He probably saw, or heard, who did it.

I also read that Marci Miller (Abby) was leaving the show and Kate Mansi had no interest in returning full time as Abby. That lead to the decision to kill off Abby.

Of course, in Salem, dead doesn’t really mean dead. Who knows maybe Abby will be back in the future with a new actress in the role. I wonder if they’ll be fan backlash to her killing like with Will’s “murder” ?

Personally I would have liked to see a replacement actress play Abby. Her murder, especially after just introducing her kids, was dark for daytime.

I don’t understand the questions. Please explain the reasoning. Thanks.

Repeating the same tired old storyline again with Leo and Sonny. Lazy writing. I hope Days comes up with a totally new twist on this Leo revenge tour.

I read on a rumor site that Beau (the spirit) does indeed save Tripp.

I wondered the same thing: why not take Jan’s baby instead? I guess it’s because there’s more drama with taking Cin’s. Also, Jan would probably gladly give her baby to the devil, her new BFF.

My guess is that this is the setup for a storyline of Kayla not firing her and Dr Craig maneuvering to take the Chief of Staff position. He certainly has history of trying to do that with Nancy. Now he’ll do it with Leo. I base this on some rumors online.

I think the EJ Clyde story will be Clyde helps EJ prove that he didn’t kidnap Sami and Lucas did. Clyde has so many contacts on the outside he can threaten the guys who did the kidnapping for Lucas. Also, I believe Lucas said he met those guys in Statesville.

I agree! And Feb is sweeps month. Hopefully they’ll fire up these stories after the Olympics.

Sarah acts like she’s drugged or something – definitely not herself. Perhaps there is a baby Kristen is keeping from her to keep Sarah under control. I think you’re right, the “him” is the baby, not Xander.

With Dr Kayla on the Island, they can have some medical emergency with the baby, Sarah or even Abigail that requires a doctor.

Regarding the Clyde hit on EJ, I was surprised that Stefano didn’t find out about it and take out the shooters as well as Clyde. It was out of character for the Great Stefano Dimera to let this slip by.

Thanks for the link showing when the special airs (later in December) on Peacock. I also had looked on Peacock and couldn’t find it.

I did see the rumor/spoiler about this Mardevil nonsense perhaps being part of Will’s Christmas story. It may be wishful thinking/speculation on the writer’s part, but I hope it’s true.

I agree, this possession storyline is the worst. I hope they don’t drag it out 9 months for Ben and Ciara’s baby to be born.

Does anyone know who Chanel’s father is?
