Is that girl going to become the next Oprah?  She sure stays busy.

say something when he saw Philip kissing that woman?  That’s not like him at all.  He would have walked over to him and said, "What the hellis going on here!"

BTW, she didn’t kiss him on the cheek, she kissed him full on the lips…and he let her.

really made me cringe.  He keeps telling her how "married" he is then just sits there and lets her kiss him.  Stupid, absolutely stupid.  She sure was a good looker though, wasn’t she?

…we don’t know that they are going to pair Jen up with Ben so I’d hold off on that for awhile.  He’s flirting with her but, so far, she has not reciprocated.

And Ben has to be in on the whole scheme.  A doctor doesn’t get organs from a prison warden.  The only legal place he can obtain them is through the donor registry.  I’m wondering what the other staff involved in these transplants thinks about where they are coming from?  Slopping writing again.  But, alas, I’m afraid my dear Ty has been cast as a bad guy.  (Sigh)  What a pity…he is so cute.

Her slight figure and supposed weight loss and been discussed on the internet for years so I doubt she’s lost any more.  I agree that she looked better before with a little more to her but don’t think she looks that bad now.  Either she is just naturally skinny or watches her weight religiously so she doesn’t gain any.

I believe anything that hasn’t been revealed on the show is considered a spoiler and shouldn’t be discussed here, whether or not it’s been revealed on other sites.  We have gotten very bad about that here and should try to be more careful.

I thought they did an excellent job, so much better than most of the adults.  It was very realistic IMO.  Gabbi is a very pretty girl and does a good job in the role.  Will too.  I hope they can stick around and grow with their characters.

Those people all look so fabulous.  Is it legal to be that good-looking?

Just how many people have snuck into that place so far?  More than I can count.

kind of like a large clam.  (The inside of the shell is beautiful and they make a lot of jewelery out of it.)  The meat is from about 3" to 6" in diameter.  When you take it out of the shell you have to trim it and pound it to tenderize it.  Then it can be sautéd or breaded.  It’s usually served with some kind of pasta and sometimes a sauce for the abalone itself.

As I said, when it’s good, it’s very, very, good.  But when it’s bad, well, you probably ought to pass it up.  I would only order it in a very high-end seafood restaurant, like the Mendicino Hotel.

I don’t know if this is nation wide but in California the season to harvest them is only one day (and you can only free-dive to get them, no SCUBA gear, which means you have to be pretty good at holding your breath as they are found at about 15-20 feet down) so if you find it at some other time, it’s probably come from some other country.  Of course, you can imagine what that does to the cost.

losing an eye is not quite that traumatic to a young child.  (But they’ll have to make Johnny’s as bad as they can or there wouldn’t be any drama to it.)

My nephew lost his eye when he was also four because of a detached retina (from falling down the basement stairs).  And apparently, like Johnny, we noticed it while taking a Christmas family picture, it wasn’t moving like the other one.  Once the retina detached it prevents the eye from growing with the body so he had to have it removed and a prosthesis put in.  It wasn’t painful and never bothered him in any way.  In fact, when he was a pre-teen, he used to tell people he’d take out his artificial eye for them if they’d give him 50¢!  He had to have several prostheses as he grew to continue to fit his eye socket.  I think he had five in all.

Not a line of the day but a very well-thought out remark was when Johnny was hugging Sami and crying for his mother and EJ said, "Samantha, doing nothing is not an option."  Very profound.

is supposed to be a bad guy but, geeze, could they make him any more the cold-hearted bastard he’s become.  Usually all the villians on Days will have some soft spots deep in their black little hearts (as EJ used to have) but now, I don’t see the tiniest little spark of goodness.

I hope this doesn’t ruin James Scott’s standing with his fans.  We all know how some people consider these people real.  But I’ve got to hand it to him, he sure is playing it well; I just want to put my hands around his neck and squeeze…  Either that or slap that self-righteous smirk right off his face.  And I’m not a violet person either.

they are actually pretty realistic with their greenery.  The ones that are still green ARE evergreens and the others are deciduious.  They can hardly use bare branches because they don’t hide what they are trying to discuise at the back of the sets.

If you’ll notice the ivy on the walls outside the Pub, they have some colored leaves on them which is what happens to ivy in the winter.  I’d say, for a change, they got something right.

As for the kids playing on the cold ground, I don’t know about everybody else but, growing up in cold, cold, Wisconsin, that never stopped us.  In fact, most of the time we were dressed so warmly (ala the poor little kid in A Christmas Story) that we welcomed a little "coldness" on our little hot bodies.

Speaking of backgrounds, what does everybody think of that color they painted the Dimansion foyer.  I’m not sure if I like it or not, it’s kinda dark but I guess that lends itself to the mansion itself.

On another note, I laughed yesterday when Victor referrerd to his abode as "a compound."  Sound’s like the Godfather’s residence to me.

I would write her to be in the beginning of Alzheimer’s or some other kind of  dementia.  It’s certainly reasonable for a woman her age and could be stretched out for the remainder of her time on Days.  For me, it would explain a lot about her recent actions (reasonably) and lend a treasure chest of stories of how it progresses, the hardships placed on her family, and a realistic (ha, yeah, I know, you can’t combine realistic and Days in the same sentence) approach to a real-life occurance faced by many, many families these days.

They could incorporate the need to take over the running of the pub, the necessity of 24/7 care (eventually, not immediately), the frequent doctor’s visits, and how it affects each one of her family.  Has this ever been done on a soap before?  If they can tackle autism, certainly they can tackle this.

Please, PTB, if you are reading this, please consider it.  I’ve several friends who have gone through this and it can be very gut-wrenching and, oh, so sad.
