I love EM also and, although I can’t say I dislike Brady, I certainly don’t like the way they are writing for him now.

And I want to know how in the heck Taylor "knocked him out" by hitting him on the back???  I don’t think the writers realize just how hard you’d have to hit someone over the head to knock them out.  You really need an awful lot of force behind it.  Not only that, I sure wouldn’t want to take the chance of doing serious harm to someone I cared for just to immobilize them.  Why didn’t she just leave and then call Bo?

we were not subjected to their "night together."  I really don’t want to see either one of them naked in bed.

I think a woman who has a family should be able to choose whether she wants to stay home and raise the kids or be able to go out and persue a career.  I always wanted to do the later but my DH thought I should be at home.  (He was definitely old fashioned in this aspect.)  I actually wanted to go to medical school after the kids started school.

But then, after 20 years of marriage and staying at home, we ended up divorcing and I had to go out and and start from scratch with no higher education or experience.  It took me years to get to the point where I could make a decent living (long after the paltry alimony ran out).  Even now that I’m retired (after putting away every single extra penny into my retirement account so I COULD retire), his Social Security is twice as much as mine.  DH#2 died leaving me in debt from a business he had just gone into, and no life insurance except the military’s $10,000.

So, I say, if being a homemaker and mother is your choice, good for you, especially if you can afford to do so.  It is certainly a noble and honorable "profession."  But if you want to be out there in the work force, you should have that available to you also…if nothing more than something to fall back on.

I’m just wondering what kind of things they are saying about Ali.  I can understand someone not likeing Sami but Ali?  Pammy mentioned about having nanny, housekeepers, etc. but I really don’t see anything wrong with that.  If a woman decides to work outside the home I say more power to her.

Everyone woman wasn’t made to be a domestic (myself included!).  As long as she can still give her family the quality time they need, I don’t see any reason why she has to also cook and clean.  Pammy seems to prefer being the draft horse, for me, I’d rather be the racehorse and only work 8 minutes a week.  :o)

could they possibly be saying about Ali that’s nasty.  Just wondering.

I don’t think it’s unusual for an actor to want to direct.  It seems a lot of them go that way.  She seems to be a very ambitions woman who will probably go far in her career.

I thought his acting yesterday was horrible.  He was okay as long as he only had an occasional quip to throw out but his disagreement with Will was not good at all.  He seemed very ill at ease with his lines.

I don’t mind losing Kinsey at all, although I was kind of liking her warming up to Sonny.  She wasn’t as overbearing as she usually is and I would have liked to see how her singing lessons with Chloe turned out.

what is it about that man that is so strange?  He has kind of a babyish face but I don’t know if that’s it.  He’s just so weird.  Could he be gay and a tad flamboyant?  I don’t know, I can’t put my finger on it but I don’t (and never have) cared much for him.  I liked Ivan MUCH better as Viv’s sidekick.

Her kissing Brady yesterday almost made me barf.  (Do people do that out in public? Well, in a bar, maybe after 2:00 a.m. and too many beers!)  And her trying to act drunk was pathetic.

I think Louise may have a somewhat inflated opinion of herself.  She threw a hissy-fit last time she was let go of Days too.  I was VERY surprised that they would EVER take her back.  Apparently she doesn’t understand (even after all these years) that acting is never a permanent job, even under the best of circumstances.

Of course, losing one’s job is demoralizing, degrading, embarassing, and a bitter pill to swallow.  But she should understand it’s nothing personal against her, it’s all relative to the bottom line.  I think she should get over herself and stop thinking of herself as being better than someone in a walker.  There but for the grace of God go you, Louise.  She apparently thinks she is too good for certain roles.

Yes, she is a very talented person but I don’t think a very nice one.  That article definitely made me think much less of her.

Vivian should know that you can’t make an unconscious person drink anything, it just doesn’t work that way.  Not only that, you run the very possible risk of them choking to death.  Stupid, just plain stupid.

sweeping the fact that they kidnapped and brainwashed and tried to kill Rafe under the rug.  Are we just supposed to forget about that because Rafe2 is dead?

I understand completely where you’re coming from.  My first husband and I had the same problem.  After being married for 19 years we decided we just were not meant to be with each other.  We have remained very good friends and will always love each other but marriage was not the way to go.  We both remarried very happily.  It’s hard to know when to throw in the towel but sometimes that’s the best solution.  Good luck to you both.

(Just don’t let her get involved with Sami and Rafe though…at all!)  I really liked her and she seemed to be a capable actor.   That could be rather interesting with her on the side of the law and Brady tippy-toeing around it right now.  It’s kind of funny to me that he took over Titan from Victor because he wanted it to be a legitimate company yet he goes out and beats EJ within an inch of his life with no remorse whatsoever, even admiting he wished he’d killed him.  Conflicting, no?

I just wonder where Melanie will go once Dario is gone.  (I still don’t care for him.)  Isn’t Nicolas supposed to be coming back?  That could be interesting.  She and Brady should just remain good friends, that is a very satisfying relationship IMHO.

have I really cared much for LK…UNTIL…they hooked her up with Stefano.  Not at first, but eventually, when she started to show us she really did care for him, I began to soften toward her.  (This is reminiscent of Angelica Devereaux…as dispicable as she was, they still would show a soft side to her which made her tolerable.)

I have to admit I really do like her with Stefano as it gives her some redeeming qualities at least and, yes, she is a very good actress.  Now if they could just give her an even mildly interesting storyline that doesn’t involve meddling in someone else’s life, I might even get to like her.

talented and imaginative people here.  Let’s come up with a good storyline for Kate and one for Vivian.  Maybe we can give the writers something to work with.
