Man is Nicole beautiful or what? It really looks like she’s wearing no makeup or very little if that. Natural beauty! I just had to laugh at her when she just picked up the phone set it back down and sat on the chair! LOL.
And how gorgeous is Dario! I SOOO wish they wouldnt get rid of him! He looks really good with Melanie. UNLIKE Brady. I do not like them as a couple!! It’ll be just like another Chloe and Lucas A relationship that DOES NOT belong together!!!!!!!!!!!!
I cant believe I’m actually going to say this BUT I actually kinda feel a tad sorry for EJ! I’m sure that he’ll be his own smug self again soon.
I kind of feel sorry for EJ, too, Nora even though I shouldn’t! Of course if this was real life I would despise him as I would a lot of the characters that have done truly bad things (including Nicole!) but it’s a soap and James Scott’s acting is pretty brilliant as is Ari Zucker’s.
of Nicole, however justified, letting him lay there in such obvious excruciating pain from something wrong in his head which could easily have resulted in sudden death without helping him out. I wonder how she would have felt if he had actually died there in front of her.
I loved the way they played that scene though. The one in the hospital room too. Damn, I wish they’d put those two back together again. Nicole was right, they had it all. Talk about a super couple. They’re probably the two best actors on the show and certainly two of the best looking ones.
I came here just now to write the same thing you wrote, Nora, about Dario and Melanie. I really, really wish someone would read our plea and keep Dario on the show. Take someone else away (like Kate!), but leave him alone. He and Melanie are a lot of fun to watch, and I’ve been enjoying their scenes so much. I have grown to really like them together.
and I can see a reuniting of them down the road. At least I hope that’s what today showed. To me, E.J. was sincerely sorry today for what he put Nicole through, even though she had every right to walk out and leave him there to die. It’s obvious she still has feelings for him, and her probably saving his life today while he is still blaming himself and Stefano for her mother losing hers showed that in every way. Nicole has been wronged in many ways, and she has wronged many in her own way, but I’m glad she got all of that out of her system with E.J. today by telling them how good they were together before Taylor hit town. I hope E.J. will begin to see that, too, and realize he made a huge mistake by hurting her with Taylor. The hospital scenes were marvelous, and really showed the anxiety and genuine feelings they seem to both have buried since this horrid storyline began. When he took her hand in his at the hospital, I felt in his own sick way he was trying to let her know just how wrong he really believed he was. I just hope he continues to realize it when he recovers. They soooooo belong together.
I sat there with my mouth open watching the scenes between these two. I think it’s the best work James has ever done as he was VERY convincing that he was so close to dying.
Nora, you are right. Ari looks beautiful without one drop of makeup on her. She comes across so naturally no matter who she’s shooting a scene with. I think she could make even me look good, LOL!
And count me in the ‘don’t let Dario go’ group. I like him and Melanie together.
I didnt like Dario at first, but he has gotten so much better! he and Melanie play off each other so well. And I think he is incredibly HOT! PLEASE KEEP DARIO!
I can’t help but want these two together as well. They play off of each other so brilliantly and whether they’re fighting or making love, there are sparks flying everywhere. Such great actors those two. I would LOVE to see them get back together and come up with a storyline for Nicole to have her own baby…whether it’s with EJ, by adoption, surrogacy, whatever. If they don’t end up reuniting, I would also love to see Nicole go through the process of adoption or surrogacy herself. I admit this could be difficult given her, shall we call it "sordid", past lol, but it is soapland so come on!
Only an actor as talented and gorgeous as James Scott could pull off committing heinous crimes and then turn around and have us all feeling sorry for him! Because I’m right there with you.
EJ will do anything to gain sympathy and then as soon as he thinks he has what he wanted, he will go back to being Elvis. My sympathy is fleeting. I still feel sorrier for Rafe who was drugged and held captive and Sami who was raped by EJ more than once and poor Sydney who was bounced al over the place because her dad is such a pompous fool. Sorry for EJ? If I thought he was sincere maybe but we all know he isn’t.
I’ve grown very fond of Dario, and he has changed my opinion of Melanie significantly as well. I couldn’t stand the girl or the actress before they put her and Dario together, but now that they have I can see what would have been a beautiful relationship. They are two peas in a pod and they work off of each other almost as well as E.J. and Nicole, in that they can both dish it out, but take it as well. Dario doesn’t baby Melanie like most of the men in her life. He lets her know when she’s acting like one, though, and that’s what this character needed. Then, when they finally did show that they were attracted to one another, and how darn cute they are together now, I’m wondering why they didn’t keep this character, as well as the actor. They are "win/win" for me, and I wish the talking heads would see just how popular they are becoming. Since they seem to love Molly so damn much, I’m sure that once they send the character of Dario packing, they’ll put Melanie right back on the Brady train, and that I simply could not stomach.
I love Nicole! And yes, she is beautiful whether she’s wearing make-up or not. I noticed the same thing you did. As for Dario, he has definitely grown on me and it has taken a long time, but I’m sorry that Days fired him. I don’t like Melanie and Brady–that is just gross! He’s too old for her and it just looks awkward. Dario and Melanie look much better together.
(Just don’t let her get involved with Sami and Rafe though…at all!) I really liked her and she seemed to be a capable actor. That could be rather interesting with her on the side of the law and Brady tippy-toeing around it right now. It’s kind of funny to me that he took over Titan from Victor because he wanted it to be a legitimate company yet he goes out and beats EJ within an inch of his life with no remorse whatsoever, even admiting he wished he’d killed him. Conflicting, no?
I just wonder where Melanie will go once Dario is gone. (I still don’t care for him.) Isn’t Nicolas supposed to be coming back? That could be interesting. She and Brady should just remain good friends, that is a very satisfying relationship IMHO.
