using the same rationale you did but it didn’t work at all.  Yes, I had the surgery and am fine now.  They found two gall stones stuck in the sphincter (that, BTW, did NOT show up on the MRI!!!).  It was an extremely painful surgery, don’t know why but doc said I had a lot of the CO2 trapped in my abdominal cavity because of the previous abdominal  laps I’ve had, and with no way for it to get out.  Doc said it’ll just take time.

That was three months ago yesterday and I’m still feeling it occasionally.  It was laproscopic and my surgeon also told me the way he had closed me was something new he was trying but would abandon because the recovery way too painful.  Well, thanks for that, doc!

But’d I’d recommend to you if they start coming too often, have the surgery.  Mine was only complicated because of the two ulcer perforation surgeries I’ve had previously, so if you haven’t had any abdominal surgeries, it souldn’t be so bad for you.  You will be rid of it forever.

I am 100% convinced it is the opiates that did it.  Every time I got a spasm was about 15-20 minutes after I had taken one.  And, as we previously discussed, I’m allergic to Ibuprofen so can’t take that.  I’m on 2 mg. of Dilaudid 4 times a day now but trying to wean off it.  I don’t think it’s doing anything any more.

    This is CRAP, isn’t it?

If you noticed last season they eventually all ended up with swim suits but would still walk around in that stupid underwear.  I don’t know who (maybe gay guys?) would be interested in seeing that.  To me it’s just plain disgusting and very high "ewww" factor.

my DVR filled up so I have to delete something to make room for both DM and PR because there are two other shows I watch when they are on.

have a long-standing dislike for each other and will only work together when it involves something that involves both of them and even then, one will be in charge over the other.  I doesn’t surprise me at all that, if it is a federal case, the Salem cops would know nothing whatsoever about it.  Rafe being a former FBI agent was probably told because he still has friends there.

And it’s beginnin to come together, John’s new Black Financial Services, Austin being a forensic accountant (who could very likely have been working on this for the FBI before they came to Salem), and Carrie as an attorney, although it’ll be awhile before she can practice law there because she’ll have to pass the bar first and that’s only given, what, once a month?  Austin would also have to be licensed in that state (whatever state Salem is in) too.

As to Carrie defending John if Austin is working for the FBI against him, I can’t see that happening.  That’s way too much negative conflict.

He’s had his minions in the background, waiting for him to take the podium to get them out there.  That’s the way to do it.  Saturation campaigning.

for Jack and Jennifer as a couple.  But I love, love, love, Jen and Daniel.  Their scenes just make me feel good and make me smile.

As to our negative comments…I’m sure everybody is enjoying the heck out of all this new stuff, characters, scenes, writing, etc. but the griping, nit picking and complaining is what we do here.  Look how active this board has been since the 26th.  What would be here if nobody expressed their displeasure with anything?  Kind of dull and boring IYAM.

I’m loving to hear who feels the same as I do and who doesn’t.  It has given us a lot to discuss.  And I’m sure TPTB understand all this.  In fact, if I were in their shoes, it would give me a good indication of which way to take the show.  See who like/dislikes what the most and then take that direction.  Isn’t that something we’ve always been asking for?  You bet it is.

off-putting.  I loved Tim’s explanation, "A monkey on his face!"  Too funny.

First, James would be an idiot to leave that show.  As mentioned previously there are now only four soaps and he’s deluding himself if he thinks he’s going to walk out and walk right into feature films, although others have been as foolish to try it before but always had the option of returning to their soap.  I don’t think that’s a very big option any more with all the unemployed soap actors out there.

Secondly, I don’t believe the producers would let him leave either.  He is far too popular with the fans.  I’m talking the actor now, not the character.  IMO, right now, he and Nicole are the top two actors on the show.  (Let the disagreeing begin.)

And, lastly, who in the world starts contract negotiations a year in advance.  GMAB!  Sony, for the show…yes, probably…the producers for an actor…no way, José.

didn’t like Jen’s hair but I did too, Nora.  It looked very "today."  And, yes, she is dressing SOOOO much better this time around.

Jack was never one to confront danger.  I just can’t see him in those boots.

Remember how in awe everybody was when he picked up that sword to fight Lawrence Alamain after he had raped Jennifer?  That was such a shock to everybody that he would/could do that.

I’d have told him, "Keep your shirt on, buster, I’m not wasting all this beauty!  There’ll be plenty of time when we get home."

I don’t agree with you guys that Austin is the older child.  I’m almost certain that Billy is, and since, she’s Bo’s age, that would make perfect sense.

And I agree with Bono, remember he is much older now than when he was last on the show.  The men don’t always age as well as the women, if you know what I mean.  ;o)

And for me, Patrick will always be the real Austin, not doofus AP.  And as much as I liked Julie Pinchet (sp?), I still think of Lisa Rinna as Billy.  I thought they (Austin and Carrie) looked perfectly fine together, just like you’d expect from an old married couple.

whether or not EJ is sincerely going over to the good side or not.  Some times things he says makes me believe it, others, not so much.

Maybe it true, he’s going to stop the ridiculously villianous things like he’s done in the past and just becoming a ruthless business man like Victor is.  I could live with that but I’m really hoping he’s going to change somewhat at least.  That would put him more on Nicole’s level at which would make them more compatible.

Black Financial Services?  (Not sure I’d want to invest with a company with THAT name!)  That’s something new.  Me thinks there’s going to be a big financial storyline coming up in the future.  Hmmmm…
