Participantwith EJ, I certainly don’t want them to break up. They love each other too much and Rafe is so good for her AND her kids. Even Will recognizes that. Of course we know the writers can’t stand to leave any couple together for any length of time, I DO NOT WANT THEM TO BREAK UP RAFE AND SAMI!!!

ParticipantAs I posted before, I knew Sami would go about it all the wrong way telling Madison she was leaving. She should have gone to Madison first and laid everything out for her. She could very easily have told Madison how much she appreciated the opportunity she had given her, how much she has learned and enjoyed in her short time with Mad World Cosmetics but that she found, because of their financial situation, she could not turn down this opportunity.
She could have said she never would insult Madison by even hinting that she might match that salary which is why she is forced to take Kate’s offer (although I think that may have been what Brady was hinting at when he said she should have talked to him first). And THEN, say she would hope that Madison would be understanding enough that if it didn’t work out at CW, the door to MW might still be open to her.
I think that would have gone much further than, "I quit."

Participanther uncle Eugene, I believe her name is actually spelled Jean.
I’m in kinda the same boat. My brother’s middle name is Eugene and mine is Jean. He always told people I was named after him. :o) He’s Ronnie Eugene, I’m Bonnie Jean. When people would question that, he’d say, "Yes, I was named first and then she was named AFTER me!"

ParticipantI will be very disappointed if they try to go down that street. They have way overused these "long-lost children" who were not the children-of-the-fathers/mothers-we-were-first-led-to-believe stories.
Let’s see, how many have we had? First Mike Horton, (there’s probably some that occured during my pre-VCR days), Bo, Will, the "Space Twins," Melanie, Claire, Chad, Johnny and Sydney, Parker, Daniel…I’m sure I’ve left many others out.
If I lived in Salem I’d buy several Father’s/Mother’s Day cards…just in case.

Participantis so horribly contrived. Brady can go there for the same reason Quinn is still in town in spite of the orders to leave and never come back. No sane reasoning at all. And Quinn has become such a goody-goody now I want to barf. I really, really, don’t like this character.
And I don’t know of any spa or dojo that allows bare chests. Even boxing rings require you to wear a shirt unless you are competing in a match. You must be properly dressed…ALWAYS, especially I would think, in one as up-scale as that one. BTW, does it have a name? I don’t believe I’ve heard or seen one.

Participantthat Sami "loves" her kids. But she is sorely lacking in the "good mothering" department. I think, first of all, she doesn’t know how, and, secondly, Sami and what she wants gets in the way of good mothering.

Participantthat’s the way WE think, however, other people now-a-days don’t seem to care if their bra straps show. They don’t even wear the same color bra as the top they wear. The ones I get a kick out of are the bra straps are clear…like we can’t see them?
IMO, if Alison is too well endowed to wear that gown without a bra, the wardrobe department should have selected something else for her to wear. It was just plain tacky, tacky, tacky! And not attractive at all.

Participantapplies here. Will is talking to his grandmother, not his psychiatrist.

ParticipantAs good as ever.

Participantif it was made of pot metal (which a lot of signs like that are because it’s so easy to mold), it can break very easily. Not only that, pot metal cannot be welded back together again.

Participantall the Alex Cross books by James Patterson. He writes in a way that is always interesting, even when basically nothing is happening, and his books are fast reading…very short chapters. He has had more books make the best seller list than any other author…ever!
He also wrote The Women’s Mystery Club series. (They usually have consecutive numbers in the titles.) Even though you can quite easily read them out of order, he develops both main characters in these books a little more each time but not to the exclusion of understanding the story.

ParticipantAnd Sonny. Where are they?

Participantthe "love" (better discribed as "sex") scenes make me very uncomfortable. They are the ones that are so desperate and intense. I’d rather they just hint at those and instead show us the tender, romantic ones.
Speaking of that, I really loved Madison and Brady yesterday. They were just so perfect together and did all the right tender, touching, and loving things.
With all this talk lately of Madison’s mother, I wonder if we will be seeing her sometime soon. Let’s see, who would we cast in her part? Past or present (or from another soap) soap actors. I think Gloria Loring would be great.

ParticipantI thought everything was very natural and well done, even on the couch. Sometimes, when the mood strikes, well, you know…whatever is handy. Sometimes it’s even the kitchen (or bathroom) counter…if you know what I mean! The only thing I found rather strange is that they made love while Sami still had her bra on? I can’t imagine that happening. Maybe Galen’s wife insisted on it. :o)
Along those lines, but still OT, I just read that Jim Caveziel (Person of Interest) is so religious he will not do a love scene with another woman. Wow, how dedicated is that.
