After watching today’s show, I am convinced more than ever that E.J. is John’s son, and Stefano knows it. My reasons are strictly my own speculations and not intended as any type of spoiler. Did Stefano set all of this up, realizing that if E.J. is, in fact, John’s son, that by the time all is revealed E.J. will be so devoted to Stefano that he will not believe it in any way, shape or form; or, even if he does believe it, he will keep John as the enemy and stand side by side with Stefano, regardless of the bloodline? It just struck me funny today when Stefano seemed to be more upset about E.J. learning that he was behind the information given to Bo and Hope, which was relayed to Carrie in order to prove John’s innocence than he was about learning the real truth — that further investigation by E.J. might reveal the truth (think baby picture again); that John is his father. I think the key that was embedded in Alice and Tom’s plaque will unlock this mystery somehow. Stefano would never want E.J. to know the truth, thus his total forlorn looks and the fact that he was visually upset over the televised news conference by John. I must admit, Marlena was pure gold, looking into that camera as if she was looking directly into the DiMera household, and promising that she will not give up until they were punished. I’m thinking this mystery will consume a good deal of February sweeps, and for that reason alone I’m still interested. I’m just hoping with every fiber of my being that if John is E.J.’s bio-dad, that Hope is NOT his mother, but it is not hard for me to believe that she could be and either Susan or Kristin, I’m not sure which now, was used as a surrogate. Just starting to look like Stefano, who is crazy like a fox, is truly behind this whole scheme and has been using E.J. as a pawn, the same way he did John. Again, just speculating.
I’ve been thinking for a while that one of Maggie’s eggs might have been used. That might be a reason Alice was looking for the child to begin with.
If this is true, then Stefano set up Ej to impregnate Sami knowing that they are related. Since John is Stefano’s brother, son of Colleen Brady who is Shawn’s sister- Sami’s grandfather. That is just wrong and really bad writing.
I will be very disappointed if they try to go down that street. They have way overused these "long-lost children" who were not the children-of-the-fathers/mothers-we-were-first-led-to-believe stories.
Let’s see, how many have we had? First Mike Horton, (there’s probably some that occured during my pre-VCR days), Bo, Will, the "Space Twins," Melanie, Claire, Chad, Johnny and Sydney, Parker, Daniel…I’m sure I’ve left many others out.
If I lived in Salem I’d buy several Father’s/Mother’s Day cards…just in case.
as Daniel being her son. How many eggs were out there and available to all the crooks??? Is it possible that Stefano didn’t know about John being his half-brother when he ‘produced’ EJ? Plus, EJ would still be a Dimera IF he was John’s child.

Zach (Bo and Hope thought he belonged to Abe and Lexie then found out he was theirs but not sure if Bo, John or someone else form Hope’s days as Princess Gina was the daddy. Tests revealed Bo as the father)
Ciera was first thought to belong to Patrick until she was born and he told Bo the truth
Pocket/Tyler was discovered to be Phillip and Mimi’s offspring.

Will (Sami named Austin as the daddy but later it came out that Lucas was)

anyone remember Eugene claiming the twins were his with Marlena because Roman was supposed to be dead but was really just undercover??? Poor Tom’s reaction was priceless on that one!

That would make Sami and EJ second cousins once removed. That’s not cool for Sydney and Johnny which would make them cousin bro/sis.. Very Springerish
I’m confused, how are they related? Sami is Marlena and Roman’s daughter, she is not related to John, by blood in anyway, is she? I’m confused.
I had forgotten just how many times that plot had been used. Someone could make a good living just doing DNA test!!!
