Participantit was an actual commercial. You only see a product placement, they don’t talk about it.
SNL did a bit once about a TV drama that consisted entirely of commercials. It was mildly entertaining (an rarity for SNL these days). But, it makes one wonder if we aren’t going in that direction now.

ParticipantI think that’s just wishful thinking on your part, Patti. :o) But, he did tell Will that he knew Will didn’t do it because he knew who did, didn’t he? So, could be.

Participanthim not wanting to take such a drastic pay cut, I wonder what he thinks he’s going to do for a job. With all the soaps being cancelled, I’m sure there are a TON of out-of-work soap actors out there so I sure hope he has something else lined up.

Participanton the west coast both yesterday and today. They ran a banner several times on Wed. announcing the time change.

ParticipantI can’t imagine him being fired and if he has half a brain, he wouldn’t quit unless, like Renee, hs’s saved up enough money to retire, which I doubt very much. Certainly Peter is smart enough to know which side his bread is buttered on. He left before to try out bigger and better things (like so many other soap stars have tried) and failed. I don’t think he’d try it again. Unless maybe he’s going to let Kelly support him.

Participantyou are trying to use logic here. Thata’ll never fly.
I’d love to see it be Lexie. I mean, what was the purpose off f that note saying she had gone to bed early. My money IS on Lexie.

Participanto Fairly Legal last week too I guess this is going to be a thing of the future. It isn’t enough they interrupt every eight minutes for commercials, now they need them within the story too. Bah!

ParticipantI haven’t noticed any of these things. But then, I have started using CC ll the time so I’m busier waatchi than listening.
Cripes, I’m using my son’s spare laptop (I’m in San Francisco for the g.daughters’ college graduation) and it’s really wonky. Please excuse any further typos.

ParticipantAnd, that was certainly a cheesy casket they had him in. It didn’t even have a top. The set deorators failed miserabyl on that one.

ParticipantI’ much rather have a defense attorney defending me of murder than a corporate attorney. But, he should actually hire EJ.
There realy isn’t a cracker-jack defese attorney (to our knowledge, at least) in Salem.

ParticipantI really don’t have a problem with the way they handle the kids on this show. They have several of them who are not the greatest actors (let’s face it, as good as Johnny is, he’s not up to par with a movie actor), it’s gotta be very hard to write them in, as well as pay them, when they are not actually involved in a story line. Also, those actors don’t do much in the way of rehearsals but the kids need a lot which would be very time consuming and counter-productive for the adult actors to have to go through.
In fact, I think they do a pretty good job in accounting for them. At least they don’t just ignore them at all like they’ve done with so many characters that are no longer on the show. Coming to mind are Eric and Jack Jr. among many others.

Participantif the writers feel something is justified, that makes it legal, or, at least, not unethical.
It would be okay for someone to kill Stefano because he’s a very bad guy but they couldn’t kill someone else. Same with Dan, he couldn’t have done that for anyone else or it would have been a bad thing.
<taking my tongue out from my cheek now>

Participantthat EJ has been acting like a Dimera only to please his father? Now that he has been disowned by Stefano, maybe he’s won’t feel as strongly. He did say he was trying to legitimize the Dimera name by running for mayor. I don’t think EJ is as rotten to the core as you’d like to believe. We have certainly seen a lot of humanity eminating from him since Lexie got sick.
