What’s wrong with me?  Guess the old brain’s wearing out.

Which brings up the question, will Kristen’s brother (see? what was his name?) remain in prison when she comes back or will they refer to him at all?  DUH!!!

You DID aske me, right?  :o)

It’s getting where people are losing their jobs and worse for making some kind of remark that might possibly offend someone or other.  They say we have freedom of speech but not if you say something that someone else might not like.  It’s getting ridiculous.  Just consider the source and get on with life.  Sticks and stones, after all…

I really don’t believe someone should be fired just because they were a weenie-head and made a racist (or whatever) remark.  If they’re going to do that, then they should also fire anyone who uses the "F" word which, to me anyway, is very offensive.  Stupid, stupid, stupid!

Yes, it was a nice send-off for Lexie but, frankily, I found it quite boring.  Instead of the eulogies, I would rather have seen more of the "old" scenes of Lexie.

BTW, anybody notice how Abe’s hairline is beginning to recede after seeing him as a younger man?  It’s funny how black men seem to lose their hair like that (creeping back from the font) and white men’s hair thins out first.  Not always but mostly.  I wonder why that is.

Practically everyone I know (also "that age" category) watches Jeopardy and I think it’s two-fold.  Because of the show (contestants don’t have to act like idiots like on other game shows) and because of Alex.  I think he’s just about the nicest and most handsome man.  And he sure is smart.  Just listen to how easily he pronounces all those complicated foreign names and places, always without a stumble.

I was disappointed too, Patti.  Those were horrible questions for being in a soap opera category.  They SHOULD have been ABOUT Days of Our Lives History, not WORLD history!!!  And we didn’t even get to see the final two answers.  Bah!  Good try but I give the show (Jeopardy) an A+ for having them on but a D- for the questions they used.  It would have been an F- if the other two were as bad.

Kristin, Susan, Mary Moira (the nun), and Thomas.  Eileen DID say that the enormous amount of screen time took a toll on her which was why she was so happy to return to her other show (Y&R?).  Because of that, I don’t think we’ll see her in even a dual role this time, ergo, no REAL Kristin.

We all thought at the time Eileen was cheated out of an Emmy for the fantastic job she did playing all four parts.  Many, many, many times we’d see her playing two different characters on screen at the same time.  Maybe she’ll get another shot at it now.

but, apparently, there were some complaints about racial slurs about that explanation and we got one show where she was supposedly being held on a Carribean island instead.  How she gets off that island would be anybody’s guess.

But, I still have a feeling that it will NOT be the real Kristin but Susan playing the part again…for whatever reason…that returns.

not worth watching.  Other than Lexie’s video, which I thought was very well done, there was nothing interesting at all.

Abe’s tie?  Don’t tell me Lexie tied it for him every day before he went to work?  (Why was it dark out in the garden?  Is this funeral at NIGHT?)

As I mentioned before, NO big deal finding gun shells in EJ’s apartment.

Brady is way OTT with this drug stuff.

Can’t even remember what else was on.

is the Pope Catholic?  All my friends and family know, do not call me while Jeopardy is on, even though I now record it.  I am a #1 fan of that show and have been since way before Alex was even on it (was it Art Fleming who was the host originally?).  I’m such a fan my son bought me a special Jeopardy hand-held device to calculating my betting on.

BTW, Patti, I believe Jeopardy is a Columbia show, not Sony, as per a clue to that effect that was on the show just last night.  Since I’m still having problems with accessing certain pages on the internet, I can’t check for sure.  But they are syndicated so it doesn’t matter what network they are on.  I believe it’s ABC everywhere but may be at different times…7:30 here.

I tried out for the show several years ago and the intitial test is VERY difficult.  That’s when you had to go to them and take the test in person where now you can do it online.  You got 50 $2,000 questions (at that time they were $1,000 ones) to answer in a very short time and you have to get 80% right just to be eligible to move on to the next step.

Some days I do very well and others I really stink.  It just depends on the categories.  My biggest problem is being able to "say" the answer.  I can see it in my mind but can’t articulate it.  But I LOVE it when I know an answer none of the contestants know, especially if it’s the Final Jeopardy…which doesn’t happen very often.  And I’m sure when you are there in front of the cameras, it’s probably even harder.  Those are some pretty smart cookies that actually make the show.

I’m really looking forward to tonight’s show.  You named seven people but there are only six questions in the category. ???  Thanks for the heads-up.

that Lexie got bangs since she died?  She had bangs on that video she left for Abe but she didn’t have them the day she died in the garden.  There must have been a wholesale bargain on bangs recently at Days.

That said, even though Nicole’s bangs are a little too short for me, I love her hairstyle.  I think it looks great on her.  She and Sami are very both very beautiful women.

to a dish.  It was still on the cable but not on the dish.  It IS listed in my channel guide but it’s not on the menu so I figured it had finally switched over to Disney, because I DO have the Disney, Jr. channel.  I guess it’s up to the individual provider which one they want to run.

But I was really pissed today.  They scrolled that Days would be shown at 3:00 a.m. so I set my DVR to record it but I got Modern Marvels instead so I totally missed Monday’s show.  Rats!

for explaining the kids away.  They are not accomplished actors and I don’t expect to see them all the time.  I guess it would be in the same catagory of seeing people at work.  Except for Madison and Roman, we hardly ever see them at the "office."

Besides, unless there is a specific storyline based around one of the kids, like Johnny’s eye cancer, I don’t care to see them all the time.

both Nicole and Daniel both have chemistry with whoever they put them with.  I’d rather see Nicole with EJ but will be very happy with her and Dr. Dan too.

The problem with Nicole and EJ (for me, anyway) was that after their initial pairing, there didn’t seem to be any sparks.  Maybe that’ll happen with Daniel.

There were several of us on another Days newsgroup that decided to go to the Day’s Fan Day in Orlando so we agreed to meet there at the airport and take in Universal Studios (that’s where it was being held) while we were there.  Well, then 9/11 happened and the fan day was cancelled but we decided to go anyway.  There were five of us who had never met in person before.

We stayed at The Hardrock Cafe Inn which gives you special entrance to the park and rides and we all rented scooters (one lady was rather obese and I had back problems).  Needless to say, following 9/11 there weren’t many people there and with our scooters we went right to the front of the lines.  Almost felt like VIPs.

Even though we didn’t get to meet any of the cast, we had such a great time that the next year we met in San Francisco (six went that year) and the following year in Las Vegas.  It was a blast but then the newsgroup fell apart and we kinda drifted away from each other but we had one heck of a bang-up time while it lasted.

have a type of summer school for kids of working parents, or whoever wants to attend.  It’s not particularily an academic ciriculium but more like the daily vacation bible school we used to go to…only not religious, just fun stuff mostly. Lots of crafts, sports, and stuff like that.
