Participantshe has certainly been delivering some stellar performances lately. I hope the show realizes what they have in her.
I don’t know what’s going to happen to her now but I’m thinking it will have something to do with Eric when he comes back. Does she still care for him? He was really her first true love and she was deeply hurt when he left her for Gretta.

Participantthat she went there because of John. I think when she picked up the key it brought back memories to her and she went there for the reason she said.
Unless she has me as buffaloed as she does John. I guess we’ll see.

Participantof her MG. I don’t know what is causing it (weight gain), I just remarked that she looked heaver and not the Maggie we are used to seeing. Through the years, even after her diagnosis, she has always looked amazing. And she has stated she has her disease well under control.
Dr. Oz had an interesting segment on his program the other day and one question was whether we gain weight as we age. It was a myth. We gain because our metabolism slows down as we get older and don’t burn as many calories so, unless you do something to combat that (more exercise, less carories) it will happen. I’m not blaming them for it…again, I was just making an observation with both Marlena and Susanne.

ParticipantMarlena will hire a boat and walk in the cabin just as John is comforting Kristin or doing something suspicious and she’ll get the wrong idea and the firworks will start. So predictable.

ParticipantThis guy didn’t sell me as a priest. That poor parish sure does go through a lot of priests.
Bonbon
Participantto the cabin in the box Stefano left for her but why she thought she had to go there is beyond me.
What’s even more incredible is that the cell tower AND the phone land lines are down and there’s only on ferry. Come on, writers, can’t you come up with something better than that?
Bonbon
Participantbecause that’s the time it was found not the time it was lost. It could have been left there the day before. These writers are trying to jam ridiculousness down our throats.
Bonbon
Participantyesterday that Sami, Kristin and Jen all had the same jersey dresses on. Except Jen’s had a full skirt.

ParticipantAfter Wilma went through here they passed a law that all gas stations had to have generators to pump gas. It seems for the cost of a generator, that would probably be a good idea for stations at any location that has a threat of losing power. That was a real problem after Katrina too, many people couldn’t get out of the city because they had no gas.
Although I’m a firm believer that you take care of those things BEFORE the storm hits, have gas, water, food, MONEY (ATMs and credit cards don’t work), etc. So many people were unprepared because they didn’t think it would happen to them. I’ll bet they’re prepared next time.

ParticipantYou don’t realize how dependent you are on it until you don’t have it. It’s kind of like, okay, what do we do now. Hope you are at least staying warm.
When the kids were little in Illinois we had an ice storm and no electricity. We put patio bricks on the stove (gas) and heated them up, wrapped them in newspaper and put them in bed where all four of us slept together. We lasted three days of that and finally left to stay with relatives.

Participantabout trying to save Daniel from that evil woman but when Sami wants to do the same thing she does a 180 and doesn’t want to talk about it. Huh?
Bonbon
Participantstuff that’s going on a bunch of crap. Marlena is pathetic. And Brady saying, "I’ll aprotect you!" Egads!
And what in the heck was the purpose of Sami going to Jen yesterday? That made no sense at all.
Next, why is Daniel so insistent in finding out about Nicole’s doctor appointment that he would first have to find and then call someone in South America?
Bonbon
ParticipantI don’t remember her being like that before either. I always have the closed captioning on and I sometimes think, I wonder how everybody else knows what she’s saying.
I can’t talk either. One of the pills I take affects my voice some of the time and I talk like Clint Eastwood…very annoying. It sounld like I’m on the verge of losing my voice. So I’m not throwing any stones.
I still love the way she’s playing her part though. She’s doing such a good job.

Participantlook at their lives. There’s not a happy one in the bunch. They can’t stand to have someone happy for five minutes. I guess Victor and Maggie are the only ones even close to that.
Bonbon
Participantalthough I think they are a little over done. It’s the condition of her hair. It just looks dry and like straw and that haircut doesn’t make it look any better. When I commented on her (above) looking worse today, I was only referring to her hair. Honestly, I didn’t even notice what she was wearing.
