Participantwas a state of California CHP officer? Didn’t I read that one time? He’s never out of work if that’s the case.
Ooooooooooooooooppppppppppppppps SW – didn’t see your post before I posted – sorry – but glad I didn’t totally hallucinate what Allie’s hubby does for a living.

ParticipantLike I said, my brain doesn’t remember so well anymore, but also wasn’t he having a flirtatious fling with a nurse as well for a while?
He was all over Chelsea (they may have not slept together, but they got pretty close), she looks like a baby next to him in the YouTube scene below, if she was my daughter I’d have his medical license and up on charges:

Participanta story line with NuWill yet to form an opinion if he’s going to be good or not. With just a few scenes, it’s difficult to say….I guess that hairstyle is "in" with the kids, (seeing quite a lot of that hairstyle on the teens and twenty-something hopefuls on "AI"). Reminds me though of pictures and statues I’ve seen of the ancient Greeks and Romans – so how "hot" is this new hair cut? At least you can see his face, not like OldWill.
I guess we get used to a certain actress or actor playing a character. I remember when Martha took over as Belle, that took me a very long time to think of her as Belle. And then they left to sail off into the sunset…so if anyone else came back as Belle, it would mess with my psyche.
I think Johnny favor’s his paternal grandsire – Stefano, much more than mummy or da! So perhaps look alike genes skipped a generation there.

Participantthey aren’t using NuWill and Mia so much now either are they? Friend of mine said she thought that they up the teenagers story lines in the summer time more since kids are out of school because they want to pick up the "younger crowd". So perhaps the writers are just waiting for school to get out before they bring "the kids" SL’s back full blast.
I’m not a Stephanie fan either, too pouting – to me, me, meeeeeeeeeeee all the time – she can go! But not Bo, he’s what I call a backbone of the show character. How can the show over use him with his contract? He’s hardly been on since the Cirira (sp) kidnapping story.
Nicole, (Ari) must have in her contract that she can be on 24/7 the way they were working her last year…I was worried that with her being pregnant, she would over due it by working so hard.

Participanthave the snow, the wind, the rain, the tornado’s, etc., – while we have nice 60 degree sunshiny blue-bird weather here. However, we are cursed with "the Goobenator, horrendous traffic and sky-high exorbitant taxes and the state’s bankruptcy" – You guys will have nice sunny beautiful weather again, however, we’ll still have our curses…just wanted to make you all feel better!

Participantcomes to story lines…so much for getting Bo and Hope back together anytime soon…maybe this is going to give them the way to have Justin and Hope together and cause conflict because of Justin’s wife Adrienne is returning to the show. Sigh, ANOTHER triangle! Ick!

Participant(and let’s face it – he hasn’t been around all that long), I thought he was a bit of man-whore because he did sleep with a lot of women as you said SW. I was glad that he ‘settled down’ with Chole ~ I think that romance is going to be toast though once this gets back to Chole with her just wanting a baby so very much right now. Besides Kate, there was Chelsa (it made me cringe when Daniel and her were kissing – because of the age difference between those two) – how much age difference is there between Chelsa and Melanie after all? I’m trying to remember all the others (but my memory is a bit feeble) – granted he is handsome, a doctor, was available, nice, etc., etc., etc.

ParticipantJohn Black…(sob
). Rafe is truly a very nice guy as John was. (Yes, I know about John being Stefano’s pawn and a baddy at one time – so I don’t think that was John’s fault).
Rafe is (besides being very handsome), like a boy scout, brave, smart, considerate, kind, loving and caring. Rafe has those kinds of characteristics we’d all like in our special real life someone. He’s like the Marines – he’s going to save you from the bad guy.
However, as much as I like Rafe, without a whole lot of conflict (not to say that Sami hasn’t given that to Rafe), am I really going to want to watch him all the time? I do want to watch him some/most of the time, but then I also want to watch a baddy like EJ from the safety of my own t.v. screen (I would dispise him in real life).
The entire reason I watch the show is to see someone with bigger issues than my own little things deal with things that happen in their lives – whether those issues involve love and romance or deceit and intrigue. Rafe and EJ gives us the best of all those conflicts and triumphs of life.

ParticipantJohn’s longevity with the show; like a life time achievement award type thing, plus he can act given the right story line and he does deliver great lines when they are given to him. I was surprised to see Nicole as supporting actress category as well, she should be "full-fledged" actress with all the scenes she did last year (and a darn fine job too).

Participantspecialists…common sense would be more like it…and instead of flying all of us common sense people to Hollywood, why not just read some of our comments here on the board? I think the people on this board know their show better than any of the writer’s – goodness knows, the SL conceptions that many have come up with here on Salem Place outshine the writer’s story lines by a million percent!

Participantalone in our wishes for EJ/Sami permanent reunion…I always thought they had the most sparks of any couple I have ever seen in all my years of watching "Days". Although, I have not been happy with the way he’s treated Sydney by keeping her from her mommy lately, I will and will always be an EJ fan. Not that I don’t like Rafe, but EJ is just such a wonderful character, (not his demeanor) but his range – of bad, baddy, badest with an interesting romantic quirk. Rafe is great, good and nice and I do like him, but I lovvvvvvvvvvvvvve EJ. And Sami, (you are right about her), in her heyday was a great match for EJ now she’s just whiney and peevish.

Participantabout her dilemma on all the trauma of the shooting, wedding, and lack of parents, I was actually rooting for "the pillow" today.

Participantis suppose to wrap up soon…silly or not; but if it doesn’t come to a conclusion very soon, I can think about 500 of us fans here on the site, (based on what I remember Jenn’s last count was (?) ) that will revolt…

Participantthat Lawerence isn’t the daddy? She didn’t have time for a paternity test when Mel was born given that Lawerence only let her hold her for a minute. I think this would be a far more interesting twist on the story especially since Vivy tried to "off" her beloved Lawerence’s own child?

Participantin a few years, (months? if they "grow her up" faster) Sydney will be a clone of Mel, not knowing who her real parents are and a twisted frame of a person for all she’s gone through in her very formative years – So agree with ya Bonbon – the writer’s will rehash the story after Sydney comes back after being "gone" for a few years, either "upstairs" or "boarding school in Switzerland" – that sweet baby is going to be a monster after growing up with parents from Salem.
Speaking of children – where in the world is newWill these days? Other than for a few short scenes…
