SOD has something like "Reckell Out" on a recent cover, which again is a purposeful mislead in hopes of selling more magazines. Still, I cannot believe the reasoning behind Peter’s month off. It seems that someone on DOOL’s bumbling idiots’ staff realized that Peter "was in danger of going over his guarantee of episodes and they didn’t want to pay him more. Bo will leave town to visit family"
Now, I don’t know about the rest of you, but is this ludicrous or what? Here is a major character in a major storyline, topped off by a major triangle, purported to be the possibility of the end of an era if they decide not to reunite Bo and Hope (which I’m not saying they won’t)……and they just discovered he was "IN DANGER OF GOING OVER HIS GUARANTEE OF EPISODES…….AND THEY DIDN’T WANT TO PAY HIM MORE??????" I’ve never believed Corday’s people to be the wisest in the industry when it came to managing this show, but this is beyond stupidity, IMO.
Maybe he can go to England and visit Chelsea. Then, ala Ozzy Osborne, he can have a motorcycle accident and ask for Hope. Hope goes to England, gives Bo the will to live, and they reunite and live happily ever after.
As for Peter being off screen for a month–What the hell are they thinking? Are they just going to drop every story that he is involved in or put the story on hold? I don’t think TPTB have the least little bit of sense.
comes to story lines…so much for getting Bo and Hope back together anytime soon…maybe this is going to give them the way to have Justin and Hope together and cause conflict because of Justin’s wife Adrienne is returning to the show. Sigh, ANOTHER triangle! Ick!
they can’t afford the actors they have so instead of trimming back, they dump fan faves and hire more actors. Save the money and dump: Carly, Lawrence’s ghost, Vivian, Kate, the new character that I heard they are bringing on, SD’s governor, and I’m sure I can think of some more dead wood to dispose of. Yup: nuWill, Mia, Chad, the teens they brought on for Will/Mia’s friends and sorry but Stephanie should go too!
they aren’t using NuWill and Mia so much now either are they? Friend of mine said she thought that they up the teenagers story lines in the summer time more since kids are out of school because they want to pick up the "younger crowd". So perhaps the writers are just waiting for school to get out before they bring "the kids" SL’s back full blast.
I’m not a Stephanie fan either, too pouting – to me, me, meeeeeeeeeeee all the time – she can go! But not Bo, he’s what I call a backbone of the show character. How can the show over use him with his contract? He’s hardly been on since the Cirira (sp) kidnapping story.
Nicole, (Ari) must have in her contract that she can be on 24/7 the way they were working her last year…I was worried that with her being pregnant, she would over due it by working so hard.
really want to see the kids there same age! I had a student (teenage girl) but she was interested in Bo and Hope and John and Marlena, not the teen stories!
Nicole may have made up for her maternity leave ahead of time .
Bo’s continuous "duh" expression and hear the same dialogue over and over and over….. If it means, we don’t have to see him interact with the horrible Carly, then let him go for awhile. His story line is disgusting anyway.
I will definitely miss seeing Bo if this means more Melanie screaming and crying scenes. Or more EJ plotting. *yawn* If only he could take Carly with him.
Did anyone get a date that Bo (Peter) is suppose to be on forced hiatus? Did it start today/this week?
of late and his non conversations with Hope. I’ll actually find some relief that he won’t be cavorting w/Carly. One can only hope she’ll find greener pastures in PR’s absence and the Days writers wake up to the damage they’ve caused w/ the Bope debaucle. I still cannot understand WHY they made such a mess of this once proud and passionate couple.
