If they try to pawn off Dr. Dan as Melanie’s father, I won’t buy it for a minute. Is he so stupid that he finds out Carly is her mother…how old she is (Mel, not Carly)…when they had their "romp in the hay"???? Besides, I don’t believe those two act like they ever had intimate relations with each other. So, if they’re thinking of making Daniel Mel’s father, they’d better certainly come up with some semi-plausible explanation as to why he hasn’t even an inkling of it being a posibility…like he’s had amnesia for the past 20 years, or, Stefano had him prisoner on a deserted island for two decades, or, there was a, a, parallel universe, or, or, or…. <grasping at straws here>.
Have you missed the thoughtful looks on Dan’s face a few times lately when he’s been around Carly and talking about Melanie? I think he was starting to put 2 and 2 together……..and have you read about (or seen) today’s (Thurs) show? "Daddy" is revealed!
This comes as no surprise. From day one, there has been speculation that he is the dad. Would have like some sort of twist. But no not Bo.
Well…you know men are dumb! lol…I’m sure it never dawned on him because it was one time..she never told him anything,or wanted to continue a relationship…one of those things. Plus, it led to nowhere, she even fixed him up with Rebecca, his widowed wife.
It’s only in the last few days that he seemed to be "thinking’ about it. Before that, he knew that Carly had a daughter and he just never even wondered? What a dope.
I didn’t think he knew she had a daughter until Melanie was shot. I thought he was surprised by that information coming out!
that Lawerence isn’t the daddy? She didn’t have time for a paternity test when Mel was born given that Lawerence only let her hold her for a minute. I think this would be a far more interesting twist on the story especially since Vivy tried to "off" her beloved Lawerence’s own child?

If it does remain that Melanie is Daniel’s can you imagine how upset Victor will be. Carly the mother of his godson’s child. Vivian trying to kill his godson’s daughter. I think that’s worse than trying to kill his son’s wife.
he gets that Miss Piggy’s "Moi?" look on his face and STILL doesn’t believe it. It’s almose like he’s even forgotten they ever DID it!

if this one doesn’t send Chloe over a cliff, nothing will. Poor Chloe; just can’t buy a seat on the "happy" train. Too bad, I was just starting to like her again. She seemed to be getting stronger, and her and Daniel sure seem to be in love. More soap havoc on the way, I’m afraid. Wonder how Bo is going to react to this revelation. Let’s see, the great Doctor Dan, who saved Bo’s life and the life of his daughter, Chelsea, who, incidentally, once was the great doctor’s girlfriend, not to be over-shadowed by the fact that the great doc is the beloved Godson of Bo’s bio-dad, Victor, Kiriakis, NOW turns out to be the daddy of his current lover’s long abandoned daughter, who just happens to be the wife of his brother, Phillip, former love of the good doctor’s current fiance’, Chloe Lane, and so on, and so forth …… Have to go now, getting very dizzy and I can feel my skin crawling away from me.
Yes but he just didn’t seem to get it. Wouldn’t that be the first thing you’d think of once you did the math?
How old is Dr. Dan? I knew that he was older than Chloe (who is 26 unless they SORAed her. She is the same age as Philip, having gone to HS with him. |If he met Carly at a medial conference he would have been 30. But if Melanie is his daughter and she is 18 to 20, that makes him about 48-50 at the least!THat is a good 23-25 years older than Chloe. That is a giant divide as he would be old enough to be her father!!! WOW!!! I didn’t think he was THAT old!
expect us to count and use ages on Days! lol Just think of Marlena giving birth to Belle when she had to have been at/close to/or beyond the age of having a ‘cycle.’ Yes, I supposed it’s possible but then they never really aged her or others as they aged the kids. EJ should be younger than Sami and Phil, Phil should be Will’s age, etc. I’d like to be the parent rather than the child in these situations as they never age them! Poor Alice should have been well over a 100!
there are quite a few men out there that have never given a thought to the possibility that a one night stand that happenned 20 years ago resulted in a child. Anyway, if Carly had a drunken one night stand with a stranger, Daniel, what is to keep him from thinking that she probably did the same thing with others. Carly has had lots of time to tell Daniel the truth since she returned. I am not sure that Carly knows how to tell the truth. JMO
