just wanted to let you know, I feel your pain.  Hope you are all okay, not suffering with power outages, plenty of food in the fridge, and all other essentials intact.  Praying for all of you to stay safe and warm.

my area but we still had rain and almost hurricane force winds that took down tons of trees and power lines.  It’s so weird to see the patterns of tree/power damage.  A friend just got her power back after it went out Thursday night!  Some still don’t have their power back yet and the guys are still listed as "assessing" the time it may be back.   It was crazy in Gloucester where roofs were lifted off hotels and trees crashed through things.  Thankfully, I was safe but without internet/cable for several hours.  It’s amazing how much you miss it when you don’t have it!

way down here in South Florida too.  Fortunately, all our utilities are underground so unless something happens at the grid, we’re pretty safe.

I was sitting here yesterday listening to the wind thinking it didn’t sound much different than when Hurrican Wilma came through.  Wind is the one thing that scares me.  But I just hunkered down and caught up on some of the things I had on the DVR for months.  Now I’ve got room for more.

Anyone want to dig up that groundhog and shoot him?  I’m going to have to get a second mortgage just to pay my electric bill this month.  We lucked out in Jan. as we got a $100 gas surtax refund.  Thank the lord!  But Feb., no such luck.

have the snow, the wind, the rain, the tornado’s, etc., – while we have nice 60 degree sunshiny blue-bird weather here.  However, we are cursed with "the Goobenator, horrendous traffic and sky-high exorbitant taxes and the state’s bankruptcy"  – You guys will have nice sunny beautiful weather again, however, we’ll still have our curses…just wanted to make you all feel better!
