I’m going back to school for nursing after being out of high school for 20 years, I’m a lil bit scared & a lot bit distracted.

the relative inactivity on the forum is due to the show or the new fall season and activities starting up again. Maybe a little of both?
I still think it’s running a bit slow, and I can say I am not thrilled with this EJ/Rafe/Sami triangle. It just isn’t exciting for me. After we’ve been on this treadmill for so long with Sami flitting between these two guys – three if you bring in Lucas – there’s just no sense of romance.
I would really like to see Jenn go after Nicole. Let’s spice this up a bit!!Yeah it is a little slow, I really hate they are turning Chad into a Dimera!! He’s not unbearable yet but he’s getting there!
I have a spoiler for the rafe/Sami/Ej triangle! so I won’t post it here.
Bonbon emailed me and said she was hang trouble posting, tried to contact jennM but hasn’t heard anything, she was wondering if anyone else was having trouble posting.
I fast forwarded through all of Sami’s scenes yesterday. You’re right, casey, it’s just not exciting for me either. I just can not understand why all these guys are after Sami. What do they see in her? Just don’t get it and never will. Oh, and what happened to her vow of swearing off men for a while and concentrating on her and her kids.
We are talking about Sami. I fell that she seems a bit more mature. I loved her dress, she looked stunnings. As for men, Lucas has always loved Sami and always will. But I think he also knows her better than she knows herself!! Rage, as much as he denies it, still loves her. I really think Carrie happened because of Sami’s insistance that he was at fault of Johnny’s disppearance and her inability to forgive him.
As for EJ, it is all about the conquest and the power. If he got her, he would tire of her quickly.
That said, I really like Monday’s episode and enjoy all the SL that are developing. I think the pace is ok.
I agree with all the above post. So every single guy in Salem wants Sami ? Really ? Why would Rafe even look at her? I love Lucas and glad he is back and he is not drooling any more for her. The whole story with Nick getting out of jail is for what reason? The parole board won’t let him leave
Salem and he has to stay with a relative and so he is with the victims mother ? Really ??
Nothing is going on worth watching . I figured the writers are setting things up for their story lines and not the old ones but can’t see much reason to watch right now.
I see an improvement in Sami more and more each time she is in a scene, whether it be with one of her 3 men, or Marlena, with her relationship with Will, or anyone else right now. I just can see the improvement the writers are taking with Sami, and gradually, not all of a sudden. Unfortunately, those who dislike Sami with the intensity of the heat of a thousand suns are never going to see her any other way than the way they want to see her, because they never will accept her any other way. Too bad, because she’s no better, no worse than any number of women I could mention in Salem.
Other than Sami, I like the way the stories are running, and I love Nick returning. Blake Berris is a terrific actor, and I’m betting his story line will just keep getting better and better. I’m very happy with the writing so far.
so it doesn’t seem to be due to slow weekends. I still profess this show is not living up to the new expectations. Just because we’re not into sweeps period or in the midst of high drama doesn’t mean the show needs to be slow. I have not seen much interesting dialog, though the bright spot for me is the Will/Sonny relationship.
Gabi is dead weight, Chad has turned into a character I don’t care for, Sami/EJ/Rafe gone to the well too often, Nicole being pathetic, and everyone else kind of bland right now.I’m not sure if it’s the new writers trying to change the old writers’ path where the storylines are concerned, or if it’s just taking a while for the writers’ new ideas to take shape. Either way, the show is running slow, but I’m still enjoying it all the same. I agree about Gabi and Chad; they have both been at fault for raising my anger to new heights. I see no use for either one of them. And when Nicole is on screen, it’s like watching a lovely rose simply die right before my eyes. I know AZ can do just about anything with anyone, but her present storyline has me furious. I know practically everyone but me, maybe, can see all the reasons in the world to criticize Sami, and most times I can agree, but no one seems to be bothered by the new and ruined Nicole Walker. God, she is pathetic. If any one character is suited for my fast forward button, Nicole is it for me.
I agree with you Patti, about Nicole, I love her too but I hate they are making her like a version of the old scheming Sami, running all around trying to keep Jennifer and Daniel apart. And she’s giving these speeches to Sami and Jen and telling Maggie to take Jennifer away on vacation!???M I was like what the H*ll?? Lol. Where in the world did she come up with that one?? pretty lame try there Nicole.
I HATE new dimera Chad. I was actually proud of gabby lately telling Chad where to stick it and then saying she will tell Mel all the lying and covering up he’s been doing to her as well! YES! I hope nick helps her out.
