While I totally agree with the growing sentiment that this sweeps period is a total snooze I am very impressed with the way the mood and tone are being set.  I wish the writing could match the level of creativity I see with the directing, lighting etc.  I have been enjoying this whole storm being woven throughout everyone’s story.  Just adds to the somber ominous mood.  I liked the dialogue between Drunken Belle and Shawn.  There are moments of true potential but then everything seems to fall flat.  I need some consistency.

In fact, it changes the mood and adds interest whenever they have a weather change.

I so appreciate how mood and atmosphere have been set here since the new writing regime. Days has that nailed – but now how bout engaging material? I do like how Deimos is finding himself caught in the middle of two strong women. But let’s do something powerful with it.

with just the lightening and the rumbling thunder, but without the fake rain.  Really set the mood throughout everyone’s scenes.

as I was watching and they let out a big thunder boom, there was a flash of lightening here at exactly the same time.  I thought, now THAT is some amazing FX!  :o)
