This is exactly what I was afraid of when Tomlin came back. He sent the two DH’s off the show before ….. is he about to do it again? I would hate that. John and Marlena have been the glue to this whole storyline with Kristen DiMera’s return. I could not take this, and the boards are buzzing, trying to figure out why Gary Tomlin would do this ….. AGAIN!

Here’s the latest comings and goings casting news from Days of Our Lives.On the January 7 episode of Days, John left Marlena and moved into a hotel. On the show’s January 18 episode, Drake Hogestyn and his character actually leave Salem, and they’ll be off the canvas for a few weeks. What does that mean for Hogestyn’s future with the soap? Well, the actor recently tried to rally his fans’ support on twitter, tweeting, "If you want to see more of John in 2013…NOW is the time for you’re voices to be heard."
WTF! This is beyond stupid and I said that when I heard he was going to leave Marlena over this. Crap writing again!
I STILL don’t see it. Except for a few days around Christmas, the writing was fast paced, but that’s it.
Speaking of Christmas, it’s been New Years Day in Salem foreverrrrr. It’s driving me nuts. Especially that all traces of Christmas were gone so fast, it was like a jolt to my system.
thought processes in this storyline to be totally out of character for him. Not understanding why Marlena didn’t trust Kristen, his being able to forgive and forget with Kristen so easily and then being so "angry" over Marlena not telling him the truth when he hadn’t listened to her for months about kristen. This is not the JOhn and Marlena we know. And if they send him away then where will the Kristen storyline go because she will have to find some other havoc to wreak. Very, very poor writing. No concerpt of the characters at all. then this pratfall nonsense we have to put up with from Missy Reeves. If we were all younger we could make a drinking contest out of her calamities…every time Jennifer falls down or has a health crisis or has a monkey wrench thrown into her relationship with Daniel, take a shot, LOL. we’d all be drunk most of the time and maybe we would enjoy the show more.
oh my gosh Bo is gone already can’t lose John and Marlena or even just John. I have nothing invested in Gabby and Nick and that crap and how Sammie acts like it is her daughter getting married…….. I want John and Marlena.
I so agree this SUCKS if anything Marlena should of left him for not believing her, which is why she didn’t tell him in the first place. And she was right! her own husband kept taking the side of the women who tried to kill her and make their lives hell!!! I would be so hurt if it was me. This is Johns fault NOT Marlena’s!!!!
John has an ego. There is no way that he can admit that Kristen had him fooled (which she did), so it seems easier for him to blame Marlena for not "trusting" him. So he is not mad that Kristen bedded Brady just to get revenge, but cannot forgive Marlena for feeling that Kristen would go after John and bed him also. Imagine that! John getting duped by Kristen (Never Happen, -right). maybe Marlena is better off without John. Well, at least Brady would be free of her!!
I really get annoyed with this trust issue always coming between couples in soapland.
