    Hey heyeveryone,

Could use some new prayers. I was admitted to the hospital on monday, my mother in law found me unresponsive on monday, she had to call 911 to come and revive me. the last thing I remember on monday was telling her that I waned to take a nap before I had to go to work. then waking up in the er while they were working on me trying to figure out why I was there, no one would explain why I was there. I finally got stablized.  But I guess I was bad off, almost didnt make it. I dont feel that bad now, but they brought me home with hospice care. which has  been absoutely amazing care. The doctor wasnt going to prescribe me any oxygen to come home with and they werent weaning me off it, and i’d been on it the entire time I was in the hospital. They let me go home by 1:30 but I went back by 8:pm that night because I was having trouble breathing. so again by 8pm they brought me back and hospice was taking me home with oxygen and pain meds to make it through the weekend. I will recommend them to anyone who should need them because they have been fabulous. by taking care of me and my needs, a complaint against the hospital.

So I just wanted you all to know, I know it’s hard to hear and it’s hard to write about but all of you have been there, some of you have even been around from the beginning of my cancer , you might not realize that one.  I appriciate all the love and prayers you have given me over the years. You have been one of the one constant thing in my life over the last 8 years, no matter where I moved or how much you guys are always at Salem Place and it’s meant so much to have you around!

you are amazingly strong and courageous, IMHO.  I don’t know if I could ever be that brave.  I pray that God will strengthen you with each passing day, and that very soon you will back on your feet, feeling healthy and ready to battle this dreaded cancer once again.  I know that if I don’t see your posts for a while, that I begin to worry about you, so be assured that you are always in my thoughts and will continue to be in my prayers.  Good luck to you, sweetie, and feel better soon.

I’ve never communicated with you but have seen your posts over the many years.  I hope things get better for you.  I too have heard wonderful things about hospice care and how they are there not just for their patient but for their family too.  Take care.

The Bible tells us of the man who had been at the Pool of Bethesda for thirty-eight years. All those

years he was unable to get anyone to help him into the pool so that he could be healed. But when

Jesus came on the scene – things changed. Jesus asked him, "Do you want to get well?" He then told

him to "take up his bed and walk." The Master Carpenter continues to ask, "Do you want to be well?"

This day, answer YES, pour out your heart to Him and see Him do a repair work on your situation. It

does not matter how long the situation has been that way, He is ABLE to turn any situation around.

Remember that "what is impossible with man is possible with God."

My prayer for you Nora is:

Lord, thank you for your loving kindness and tender mercies towards your children. Thank

you for being a God who wants His people to be whole. Lord, I ask that you intervene and help Nora with the cancer that invades her body. I am confident that you will deliver Nora because you not only hear but

answer prayers. Thank you for the answer in Jesus Precious Name.  Amen.

while God answer our prayers, sometimes He does it through science (after all He is the original "Mother Nature") and every day they are making new strides and progress:  (see news article below):

Nora,  I am new to this scene, though I was a lurker for many years. I will be praying for you, and I wish you well. Focus on what cancer CANNOT take from you. In Christ’s Love.

We’ve all prayed for you in the past during your plight and it has kept you with us so we will continue to ask our higher powers to help you along, not only physically, but mentally and emotionally too.  Yes, you are a very strong woman and that will help you in the long run.

Please keep us posted during your recovery because we all care so much for you.  Is there someone who can update us on your condition should you not be able to?

God bless, Nora.  Stay strong so you can be with us for many years to come.  And no more of this going off to the hospital, you hear?

you are having to take ‘heavy medications’, but if you feel up to reading this, please remember that you have many friends on Salem Place.  We are sending prayers and good thoughts constantly.          God bless you in His own special way.
