So I am finally caught up with all the episodes! Granted, I have watched 3 weeks in the last few days and I was doing other things at the same time; but boy I am confused!!
We now know that Stefano is not dead. BUT…….was there not a body that IS dead????? I remember the paramedics, police, etc. all hanging around the corpse! Now I do understand that it wasn’t really Stefano but a look-a-like. So who do the cops think shot Not-the-Stefano? I don’t understand why all the sudden EJ is not a suspect! There was a dead body wasn’t there? It is not like it was just a missing person, presumed dead case! So wouldn’t EJ now be charged with the murder of the Not-the-Stefano!
I also remember Roman saying they double checked the blood types. Did Ian get to the police station and change those too?
They know Ian did it (shot the imposter) but he has not been apprehended and is on the run. Ian admitted to Stefano and EJ to switching the blood tests. I guess the SPD received all this information from Stefano in the short time he was in the hospital after being rescued. EJ called in an anonymous tip where to find him.
However, EJ is now out on bail (posted by Chad). I’m not sure exactly what the charges are but I’m sure they will eventually be dropped because, according to EJ, the DA doesn’t have a leg to stand on.
Yeah, this is a lot to swallow but, remember, Stefano has even returned after being an urn full of ashes on the mantel.
I guess I missed the part about Ian shooting the imposter! Makes more sense now! But now, I have another thought! If the police were comparing the corpse’s blood to EJ, why would Ian need to switch the blood tests! I know! I am way overthinking this!
I thought the blood test showed that EJ and "Stefano" were NOT related. I think I’m getting a migraine!
I’d say he was charged with (don’t know the legal term) running and hiding. Interferring with an investigation? Wasn’t he in custody when Sami interferred, the explosions happened and he and Sami ran?
EJ, Sami and Will would be arrested and found guilty of fleeing police custody for EJ and obstructing justice for Sami and Will. Because this is soooooo not reality, they will go free. I would think regardless of whether EJ killed Stefano or not, he was in custody and charged with the crime because at that point in the investigation all evidence pointed to him. I wish the writers would take a lesson from the writers on NCIS, Law & Order or Blue Blood and give us something we can actually believe could happen!
from our local CSI Unit (Coral Springs, FL, who lives in our community) about the TV show and he said they don’t do hardly any of the things they do on the CSI show. He said, yes, a lot of the technical stuff is accurate because they have a technical advisor but they don’t carry guns and are rarely in the field except when at the crime scene. He said they don’t get test results as fast as the show does either.
I don’t watch any of those show so don’t know exactly what they do but, as we all know, Days isn’t exactly known for reality. I always have a problem when they do legal and medical things so poorly and inaccurately and so contrary to real life when it would be so easy for them to do it right.
they are mostly involved with the detective end of a crime and the arresting of the criminals. NCIS does a lot of lab stuff; but, mostly what I meant to refer to is the actual pounding the beat and coming up with evidence by really looking for it and then how it is handled once there is an arrest before going to trial. There is so much believable action and I just don’t understand why Days can’t try a little harder to be more "real". SPD always looks like a comedy troup trying to be police officers. Oh well…it is what it is.
