There was a fan event yesterday and Daniel Cosgrove was there. He apparently told some fans that he’s been let go:

It would make sense for him to go as he was one of the last to arrive at Days, and with Bo and all the other vets returning, but on the other hand, they’ve SORASED Chase…
The show’s gone dark now but when they start taping again, we’ll see on Twitter if he’s shown in the actors’ behind-the-scene pictures.
I for one would be sad to see him go, I’ve always liked the actor. But his storyline has kind of fallen flat since their return from the cabin…
to the rumor of a Hope/Rafe hook-up. Although I really like Aiden, I’d love to see Hope and Rafe together but I prefer NO MORE TRIANGLES! They seem to have a very easy, comfortable relationship right now so I can see where it could develop into something more.
but I have always wanted to see if Rafe and Hope would click as a couple —- so, okay by me and he (Rafe) is supposed to have deeper feelings for Hope than he has exhibited, thus his always caring what happens to her. I think the actors look good together.
Bo will be back on the show long enough for the writers to put him back with Hope? I really don’t want that to happen. Hope has moved on!
I’ve watched Bo and Hope since the beginning, but I don’t want them back together. I feel like Peter Reckell is probably making a brief return and I don’t want to see Hope in limbo again for years. I’m sorry that Aiden is leaving, but the writers dropped the ball on that story. I’ve always liked the thought of Hope and Rafe, so I’d like to give them a shot.

It has been stated on facebook that Peter is UNDER CONTRACT.
I really have NO interest in seeing Peter return to the show. He left on his own and then tried to get fans pressure TPTB to hire him back.
I liked the Aiden and Hope storyline cause they took it slow and allowed it to develop. I do not want to see Hope get back with BO,
Iwas also stated on FB that Peter was very nasty to Kristin. Patti–do you know anything about that?
I only hope it is so Hope can kick his sorry butt to the curb for the way he treated his family. That ship has sailed AFAIC and that bell can’t be unrung. I don’t want Bo back at all.
I like Aiden with Hope but if that can’t be, I’d like to see her and Rafe hit it off, they seem so comfortable with each other and I think their “awakening” to each other could be a very tender and loving storyline…if done correctly.
