Was this just a “scare” hit or intent to take people out? A skilled marksman with a heavy duty precision assault rifle would not miss.
and would like nothing more than to see his character sent to jail! I hate what he is doing and being so proud of himself with Daddy Stefano! I wish Johnny would hear what he’s doing/done and tell Rafe and Roman so that he goes down.
And I don’t know what John thought hiding behind that thin table top would do. Those shells would have gone right through that.
On another note, did you see how well those kids portrayed their fear? I thought both Alley and Johnny did an exceptionally good job. They were VERY convincing. I imagine it would be rather hard for a little kid to do that, it’s not a natural thing they would do often, not like laughing or crying or getting mad.
when he set John up that the kids weren’t supposed to be hurt. The guy that was shooting also was listening to what was happening in the pub so how did he do that? The eyes on that guy were evil looking! If EJ was behind it, I’d almost like for him to be told that the shooter killed his son! Maybe that is what it will take for EJ to realize what he’s done is wrong! I’m sick of the Dimeras getting away with everything they do to hurt others. EJ will be mayor and he won’t change – he’s as evil as Stefano! That is not a spoiler but an educated guess! I would love to see Chad find out exactly what EJ did and tell the cops! EJ needs to be punished along with Stefano.
the expressions he managed to portray on that sweet little face were unbelievable for a child his age. Some child actors are better than the adults, and whichever Kunitz twin shot those scenes did a great job.
a pretty face and body does not a good guy make, and E.J., in my opinion, is worse than Stefano. At least Stefano can love (I do believe he has grown to love Kate); whereas, E.J. is incapable of loving a woman, no matter how hard he tries. I still believe his first preference is Sami, but I honestly hope that Nicole finds out about all of this, including the sex between them, and gets the hell out of his life. He is the devil incarnate. I realized back when he raped Sami when he said to her, "time to pay the devil his dues," that this is exactly who he is.
From the way it played out, I almost immediately assumed it was just to scare people. I can’t remember who John was hugging when the shooting started, but I think it was either Sami or one of the young kids. They showed the target over them with John facing the window and the other person with their back to the window. When the shooter took a shot at that moment, the thought that went through my head was that no marksman would take a shot at that moment- they would want a clear shot, not to have the possiblity of hitting someone other than the intended target. and then when they kept showing the panes of glass being shot, I actually laughed. None of it seemed like anything that would happen as it would in real life in similar situations. the only caveat to that is if someone the shooter loved had killed themselves (presumably due to John’s financial shenanigans), the shooter might be wanting to kill someone John loved, though that is not the way it seemed to play out.
but I don’t think the shooter wanted to kill anyone. I think it was all a set-up by E.J. to make John so afraid that someone he loved was being targeted that he will give himself up during the trial in order to save everyone he does love. E.J. had better pay for this or I will be so p.o’d. at this writing. I am so sick and tired of these damn DiMeras.
wouldn’t EJ benefit IF Sami was killed too?? Just think who would get custody of the kids
EJ! He wants his kids back so he gets rid of 2 with one shot! That shooter looked more like a pro too. I agree about EJ needing to pay for this. So what did EJ do with all the money he stole from John’s company? Hmmm finance his takeover of Stefano’s company or finance this mayoral BS?going on for me. How intriguing can these SLs be if we know the Dimeras are at the center of every conflict with John and the Bradys? Days needs a new fresh enemy and for the Di’s to pay bigtime for their crimes. EJ is the worst w/ his arrogance, and for Nicole to be taken in yet again for the umteenth time, no matter how she feels about this criminal is shameful writing IMO.
