Gee, I never would have guessed Ari was dressed for a wedding. I realize it was just a casual ceremony but I actually thought that getup she had on was something she had on before she stepped into the shower!
Ari is going to need that dress for a wedding now that Nicole has showed up ~ I have yet to see today’s espisode, so I could be wrong. I do think that she looks beautiful no matter what she has on from her "almost" wedding gown to her waitressing outfit.
I dont like it much either, but I dont know are short wedding dresses in for this summer? Melanie’s dress certainely was short.
what’s with the hideous, and I say this in jest, "wedding gowns???" First Melanie, now Ariana? Can you imagine how beautiful both of them would have looked in the traditional wedding gown (and yes, Mel may be a pain, but she is very pretty—she just ‘makes’ herself look ugly sometimes.)? If this is today’s fashion trend for (ahem) formal wedding attire, I can’t wait til’ it’s over. What a mess.
I’m going to guess that this is all related to the budget for Days. I haven’t watched much this week, I’m trying to catch up, but I bet they are keeping the weddings down budget wise That’s the only explanation for Melanies negligee/wedding gown and whatever Ari is wearing. I did see Brady’s outfit, looked like a cotton shirt and white cotton slacks–pretty low budget to me.
would have looked much better if it had been floor length. Just how much more could it have cost to have it longer!
As to the broken pearls, didn’t we just see that recently concerning Maggie’s pearls????

I actually thought her dress was pretty cute! I mean, after all, they were on a torpical island…eloping (sp)…I don’t really think weddings on that level consist of lengthy dresses, etc, etc. Hey, just look at what Brady had on; that wasn’t much of a wedding outfit. Oh well…I can’t wait ’til Ari goes hog wild on Nicole! Ugh!
like one of those South American dictators in his white shirt. I know they are having a really low-key wedding but what’s wrong with putting on something nice on the beach – I would hope that they would at least have a tourist snap a Poleroid (sp) for their wedding picture.
I don’t think you’d want a floor length gown in a tropical venue, unless it was a really light fabric. I thought this dress suited the character perfectly.

ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY, AND MOST DEFINITELY!!! She looks absolutely gorgeous in that photo, wearing THAT dress, and so would have Melanie, no doubt about it.
No I wouldn’t want a long gown at the beach, but the dress was hideous from the waist down. Way too short and didn’t look like it went with the top. It was really ugly! Also, way too short and looked to me like something a hooker or playboy playmate would wear for a wedding.
more than Theresa’s. But, since neither ended up with their man that day, I guess that means something. Theresa also had another dress that was gorgeous on the top but the bottom was weird!
