Guess they’re giving one new set to Stephanie & Nathan…..( their apartment) I wonder if they already tore down Mrs. H’s house…or did they already tear down Marlena’s penthouse??? Oh….maybe the other new set will be Phillip & Melanie’s new house???
I thought it was too, but if you look more closely, you can tell it was EJ’s old apartment, which he gave to Steve and Kayla who in turn gave it to Adrienne, but since we have no reason to see Adrienne’s apartment, I guess the set people just gave it to Stephanie and Nathan.
I’m willing to bet that Philip and Melanie will probably end up Lucas’ old apartment down the hall from Chloe and Daniel, which will be the perfect setup for the who’s the daddy storyline.
has morphed into the old apartment where Sami and Lucas lived. The same one Austin, Sami and Nicole had when they were in business together. For awhile, Chloe’s and Daniel’s was quite a bit smaller and all of a sudden it’s bigger and has those rounded doors. I thought that Lucas was selling his house to Nathan or Phillip…can’t remember which. When they showed the outside of Lucas’ house back when Kate was poisoning Chloe, it looked just like the porch where Chloe’s parents used to live…Craig and Nancy. I like seeing the sets reformed. It’s fun to figure out who used to live there.
How many of you remember that Stefano’s present ‘mansion’ used to be Shane and Kim’s house? That wrought iron staircase is a dead giveaway. And Bo and Hope are living in Jen and Jack’s first place on Copper Lantern Way (?).
And has anybody noticed the recent proliferation of mirrors? We never used to see any anywhere, I presume because of the difficulty of filming while avoiding unwanted reflections. Now, there’s a couple of them. I think Stefano had the first one.
whoever else is shelling out any money for the show is putting up any "NEW" anything. Everything is recycled. Much as I hate to see it happen, I’m sure we’ll see bits and pieces of the Tom and Alice’s house being used at some point.
And yes, it looks like the same apartment that Carrie shared with Jesse Lombard waaaayyyy back in the day, is that the hallway is much different now. But those strange doors with funny corners are a giveaway.
