Wow…we got music, passion, fun and a decent send off to a character; even though he
hadn’t really grown on me. I was glad to see they were going to acknowledge Dario’s departure and the fact that he and Melanie had started to care about one another. The way things were done in the past, he would have just walked out the door. I love the thought of a "party" —so glad that Days is taking a new path!
I loved the music today as well. It reminds me of the old Days when each couple would have a "song". I may not be dreading winter’s weather as bad as I thought now that I have seen some new things on DOOL! Bring on the snow! haha
is working overtime on this new direction. So much more focus is being put into trying to draw in new viewers and bring back the old with the huge party to mark the change. Just hope they live up to the hype they’re spewing.
just pay me with peanuts, they (the show) is going to have to make it worth my while if they expect to draw me back in…
about how previous writing staffs would never have put out things like the EJ/Nicole tango, the 3 couples out for a fun evening, and the way Dario departed.
I actually found myself a bit sad at his leaving. I started out not liking him at all and he did grow on me as his character softened and became more responsible, and I thought his match w/Melanie was the best for her so far.
Not the case for Taylor and Gus though – it will be sayonara!!I thoroughly enjoyed the fashion show, the music behind it, and the actions of the kids themselves. I can’t remember liking the ‘younger’ set this much.
