Okay i know im not the popular in this but, I am really glad Lucus is back, i love his new attitude even his long hair. If Sami doesnt trust him and treat him right insted of running her mouth at him. well she deserves to be alone. Lucas has always stood behind her even when she hurt him. I for one LOVE Lucas~
because it proved once again that Lucas is not only the father of two of her children, but he has always, always been the one one to make her see things a bit more clearly than anyone else. I loved their scene yesterday and hope he can turn her around, if for no other reason but to see the misery she has created for herself and for her family, and to stop criticizing this wonderful guy who is telling you the truth. That’s always been Sami’s problem …. she doesn’t listen, she just spouts off, but Lucas has always been able to see right through her, like she’s made of cellophane. I love the way he looks, and his great new attitude, and mostly the fact that he is there for her because she is the mother of his kids, her best and perhaps only friend, and, in his own words, "God help me, for some reason I still love you." I’m sure that was a play on words, and nothing more at this point. He really does want to help her regain the love and respect of her family, including Rafe. And, after all, he is supposed to be engaged, so we’ll see how this all turns out, but if Rafe and Sami do not reconcile, it wouldn’t hurt my feelings to see her and Lucas wind up back together.
I just hope his words about loving Sami is not a hint that something could bring tem together. I have always loved Lucas but Sami needs to stand on her own and not end up in his arms
about Lucas coming back. But after I saw and remembered their rapport together, it was nice. They do have a long history and a comfortableness with each other. And I think she can really be herself with him, more so than Rafe. I was always a Lucas/Sami fan until Rafe came along. She never had to trick Rafe to love her, he just did.
The only thing is that Lucas has always been her partner in crime (when they’re getting along). Is Sami going to use him as a way to continue her selfish behavior and manipulation of people, or will he actually make her face the music and help her become a better person?
that he still loves her was not meant in a romantic way but the same way I feel about my ex-hubby just because of the time we spent together and he is the father of my children. I will always love him and respect him as a person and he is my good friend, but, heaven forbid, we could certainly never live together.
I think that’s what Lucas meant. He will be there for her as a friend and confidant but I don’t think he would want to start anything up with her romantically. Now watch the writers make a liar out of me.
Since lucas is supposed to be a big executive and running Kate’s company in (is it Japan or China), I thought he’d have a more businessman’s haircut, like Brady’s, but maybe not that short.
I didn’t think I missed Lucus but as soon as I saw him and he and Sami are so natural together as one poster said years of history on the show…. really enjoyed seeing Brian D. back on the show.
Those two have amazing chemistry together and such fun to watch. I think Lucas is her soul mate. Rafe was too good for her and EJ too bad, Lucas is just right! They are so darn adorable to watch as well. Love them!

on the head. Love the Goldilocks analogy! Yes, Lucas was Sami’s childhood friend and sweetheart, and maybe that’s why they fit together so well.
but, have we forgotten all the dastardly deeds he pulled on Sami? Like the Will doll? And all his collusion with Kate to drive her crazy? Yeah, I thought so. He’s not Mr. Nice Guy either.

throwing the "old Sami" in her face. She reminded him of it, so no, I haven’t forgotten, but they are still wonderful together. Of course you don’t agree because you are not a Lucas fan. I have always loved Rafe, but Lucas and Sami have too much history, chemistry, and just look so cute together that I must say, if Rafe and Carrie can’t get over this sudden realization that they are "in love with other" (OMG, what’s it been, 6 weeks now?), then I would love to see Sami back with Lucas. I have always been a LUMI fan at heart, from day one. That’s not to say I don’t still love Rafe and Sami, because I do, and hope that Sami and Lucas will simply be BFF’s throughout this mess. Of course, torturing Kate would be an added bonus for me, because Lucas surely will NOT let anything Kate says or does dissuade him from helping Sami, and that would just kill her, so I’m all for them driving Kate bat-shit crazy, if that’s what’s coming. If her children are the only ones who can do it, then go Lucas, go!
