I was wondering how Stefano and Kate came to be married? When I started watching Days again a while ago, I was a little surprised they were a couple but then I just accepted it. I’m guessing there was more than just love involved though they do seem really compatible and care for each other. Did Stefano have something on Kate or was it that the marriage would be beneficial for each of them since they are a lot alike? I don’t think it’s love though they seem to look out for each other.
Kate tried to kill Chloe and went to Stephano for help. He has the evidence that could put her away but told her if she married him he’d keep her safe.
Even though it was sort of a blackmail they do seem happy and perfect for each other.
Thanks for the explanation, DeeLan. I’m surprised at that though I really shouldn’t be! I’m assuming Kate tried to kill Chloe because Chloe cheated on Lucas with Daniel. Kate really is perfect for Stefano.
Yep. Kate had Chloe be on her Hearth & Home show and poisoned her with food. Chloe was in a coma and almost died. That’s when it came out that she was in love with Daniel and Lucas went off the wagon and had to go to rehab.
in hell, Kate and Stefano’s works the best for me – sorta like they deserve each other and they are "simpatico"…as for Victor…what the heck was he thinking? He could have just reverted to the "old" Greek gangster ways and taken care of Vivy…either with money or some other inventive way…
I was thinking that the other day. Kate and Stephano really seem to care about each other and appear to have one of the best, most stable relationships in Salem at the moment! Now how sad is that?
Kate and Stefano’s marriage was actually ‘working out.’ I wanted Kate to be miserable and receive pay-back for what she did to Chloe. But it surprised me to see I actually like their close relationship. We know that Stefano has always ‘cared’ for Kate but she seems to have become very comfortable with him. I don’t know that she loves him but like mentioned below, they do seem to have the most stable marriage on the show. I love the little endearing mannerisms she has with him. In fact, come to think of it, who is even married besides Stefano, Victor, and Philip? They better get some of these couples hitched up. Oh, and Abe.
But, back to the subject, I’m worried about what’s going to happen when Stef finds out about this secret that Kate is keeping from him. Love or no love, I think Kate had better find a pretty sturdy suit of armor to get into.
respectful than what we have seen in Victor and Vivian’s. When Stefano feels he must remind Kate who she is, as well as "how the DiMeras handle things" he always does so in the privacy of their own home or solely among themselves, and he seldom does it in a disrespectful manner, while Victor, on the other hand, makes a complete and utter fool of Vivian, and does not seem to care what he says to her or who he says it in front of. Vivian may put on a front, but it would appear she is truly hurting inside. Shame on you, Victor.
