I think I was more excited about him finally catching Theresa and putting her in her place about it.  He really did a terrific slam dunk on her and Anne’s plan today.  Now, what I really wanted to see happen was for Brady to call an immediate hospital board meeting, bring in Theresa, Anne, the phony diagnosis that her ankle was broken, as well as the video x-ray, as well as the one-year intern who falsified his findings (how did Anne get a doctor to do that, by the way), and follow it all up with the immediate dismissal of all 3 parties.  Now that would have made me really proud of Brady.  If not, he’s doomed to wander down the yellow brick road with the scarecrow whose brain seems to be much bigger and wiser than his will ever be.  I think I read that Theresa’s NEXT attempt is to use Zander to her benefit. Yeah, good luck with that, moron!!!

the intern was struggling to pay his med school bills and that Theresa’s payment to him was what won him over although I was not clear how she was going to get a big fat lump sum out of Brady’s account without his knowledge, LOL, because I’m sure she doesn’t have that kind of financial wherewithal to pay him off.

When Brady listened in on Theresa’s “Gran, you’re the only one who understands me” the look on his face read to me like he was about to cave again.
My gosh, how many times does this birdbrain Brady have to be hit over the head to realize Theresa is always out for herself!

As far as her talking to Caroline….I think that’s legit. It’s not her putting on for anyone. Could be the new writers’ tweak job

I so agree with you about using the hospital for one’s own agenda. However, didn’t Kala BEND the rules for Abigail by running the paternity test without Chad’s knowledge?

that Theresa sincerely loves Caroline. I’m just saying Brady listening in looked like he was softening.

but isn’t this the norm for the Brady’s….from Bo and Hope, all the way down the food chain to what will undoubtedly continue with the children of legacy characters.  I think it would be a pleasant change to see people pay for their "mistakes" once in a while instead of being covered up by the family.  I only expect the new "teen scene" to continue, but what a nice surprise it would be if their parents adopt a "you do as I say, not as I did" plan right from the start.  Actually, a little more real life discipline rather than soap life enabling would be such a breath of fresh air.

I find these days that discipline is a thing of the past with parents. I am appalled at how lax so many parents are, first, of teaching their kids what’s right and then practicing it. The kid basically gets away with anything and if they do something wrong, the parents look for someone else to blame. I really worry about what this world will become when these kids begin to take charge. I’m glad I won’t be around to see it.

Yes, there are some basically good kids that know right from wrong and stick to the straight and narrow path but I think it is in spite of their up-bringing in most cases.

My thought is it is the way to get everyone back to Salem for the 50th. Seems like all of the Bradys are supposed to be reappearing soon and this is a really good reason. Just hope it is not for Caroline’s funeral.

I would think the 50th anniversary would be a good reason alone, without Caroline being ill. However, it would be another reason to make the trip.  I enjoy Caroline, however Peggy seems to have trouble  getting around and might want to retire.

She’s got to be getting up there and when you can’t move well and even her speech is not that clear I personally would want to retire from that hassle of getting to the studio, etc.

Brady was strong for a hot minute before he started to soften regarding Theresa.
