don’t know if anyone else watches this; i just started watching it a month or so ago. It’s so funny and quirky, I love it. BUT, when did the 2 main characters sleep together? I could not believe it when she said she was pregnant at the end of the show tonight, I didn’t realize they had ever slept together. I’ve caught quite a few older episodes, but not too many recent ones, so any insight would be appreciated.

wouldn’t have done it, they’d have to have done something more than just sleeping.  :o)

haha ;) in fact, the one episode i saw when they were in bed together, it appeared it was a comfort thing, not a sexual thing, so i really did think all they had done was -sleep- together, lol. i guess i need to drop all modesty and say– when the heck did they make love!?

When Booth was chasing the guy who killed Mr. Nigel Murray, as Bones referred to him, Booth made Bones stay at his apartment. She was all upset about Mr. Nigel Murray asking why he had to leave and how much he liked it here and thinking he was talking about her. Booth explained Mr. Nigel Murray was talking to "the universe’ since Brennan doesn’t belive in God. They crawled into bed. The next day she told Angela, big grin on her face, that she and Booth had slept together.

In real life Emily  Deschanel is pregnant so they are going to do a shortened season. So that is probably why they wrote that in. I haven’t seen the final episode, was in Maryland to see my son graduate from UMD, so I will catch up on demand and then see what is what.

I understood it to be just sleep…no sex until she said she was pregnant. Maybe it will all be a dream ala Dallas.

I am glad I am not the only one who thought it was only sleep; I thought I must have missed something since I have only just started watching regularly. Guess we’ll have to wait til fall to see how it plays out.

One thing I read recently compared this show to Moonlighting, and the will they/ won’t they chemistry between Maddie and David on that show; I thought that was a pretty apt comparison, it is definitely part of the quirkiness I love about this show, all these oddball characters and the implications just under the surface of all the actions and dialogue.

until Bones had that conversation with Angela and had that sly, cat that ate the canary look on her face.
