At the risk of sounding petty here… I was somewhat amazed to see in her close-ups last night how many wrinkles she has around her mouth. She’s 10 years younger than I and her’s are much worse than mine. But what amazed me is that those are usually signs of being a smoker (or a consumate whistler!). I’m assuming she converted to the Mormon faith before they married and smoking is strictly forbidden in the Mormon church. So, how did she get all those wrinkles? Very curious.
And, on the plus side, that was a resounding speech she gave last night for someone not used to speaking in front of such a large crowd. Great job, Ann. It made me feel much better about voting for Mitt.
It could be that she also has MS and that might contribute to aging/wrinkles. MS can cause multiple other health issues and since they don’t talk about how this disease is affecting her we are in the dark as to how she feels. This campaign must be very difficult on her physically and she is still presenting herself very well.
wrinkles in general, just the ones on her upper lip that I THOUGHT were from smoking.
I was wondering about her MS also but I understand there are periods where you are okay. Don’t really know that much about it but she sure seems to handle it well.
At 65, I have those same wrinkles on my mouth and have never smoked a day in my life! However, I do have a "thing" about drinking from cans, bottles, and glasses at restaurants, so I always used a straw…and since I have been doing it for as long as I can remember, time has taken its toll. I still use a straw, (except for wine) but try not to "pucker" so much.
