The first day Adrienne appeared I thought, gee, I wonder what people who only knew her as Bonnie must be thinking. She is 180° different from her. I think Judi is very versatile but I’m not seeing what part she’s going to play in the future.
She and Justin always had sparks together but I just don’t see any now. Same with Bo and Carly. How could they have been such a popular couple (and Carly so well-liked) and it’s so entirely different now? I guess our tastes change, huh?
all I can see is Bonnie because I’m one of those folks you mentioned – but given time on Day’s I’ll get use to anything, and will be accepting of Judi as Adreinne – I think that Justin and her as a couple could have a good story if the writer’s don’t just put them as "furniture" around Bo and Hope. That’s the way I saw them writing for Patch and K when they returned to the show – gave them a good strong story and then they became just on the preripherals of Bo and Hope’s SL.
great together. I think they still showed a spark but with the storyline, I don’t think they are supposed to yet any way. I still hope they have them come back together and show the process.
but I simply cannot get into caring about this couple. I really love Wally Kurth, but I just don’t see it happening with him or Adrienne and, frankly my dears, I just don’t give a damn! lol
As much as we complain about flashbacks, it would be nice if they had some flashbacks of Justin and Adrienne. It’s been so long, and a lot of viewers didn’t watch it back then. I loved it when they got together. Adrienne was such a mess from all of the abuse she had suffered, and Justin was soooo sweet and patient! I think that’s why I will always be a Justin fan.
were wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy before my days of watching "Days" and it would be nice to know some history about those two other than having to go research it myself on line…
For me, rarely have characters returned, particularly couples, after many years away to recapture the good ‘ol days. Too much water under the bridge, history forgotten, just getting older.
But to be fair, we haven’t seen enough of Adrienne yet, and importantly with Justin to see if the chemistry is still there. And oh how writing is so very important, and Days has been rather dicey with its couples.The only couple I see returning and continuing the spark from before they first left are Doug & Julie. I’m sure part of that is due to them being so in love in real life and also they are true professionals who know their characters so well they let them come through no matter what material the writers throw at them.
was when she took Carly apart the other day. Loved every minute of it. She made it clear, under no uncertain circumstance, will Bo ever stop loving Hope and vice-versa. She put her in her place at a time when Carly thinks she’s all that in Bo’s life, and maybe she is right now; but, I predict that will soon come to an end as Carly and Daniel grow closer. Clearly, Adrienne does not approve of Carly and Bo, and it was nice for someone other than Vivian, Victor or Justin to give her that wake-up call while at the same time telling her off so truthfully.
