is frightening, I have to admit.  Ben is a full-blown psycho on a mission.  He is, as the saying goes, willing to destroy this village in order to save it, at least in his mind.  If Abby doesn’t need Marlena after this is over, there’s not a cow in Texas, IMO, especially if something goes wrong with her delivery.  She should blame herself, and she would not be far from being right, considering her inability to control her feelings for Chad probably is what drove him mad to begin with.  In any case, I think Kate Mansi and Robert Scott Wilson are really bringing it with their acting in this sl.  I actually shook with fear for Abbs today, and I don’t even care for the character that much, but KM has certainly proved her ability as an actress, especially today.  DOOL is famous for its knights in shining armour though, so I’m sure Chad will be on his way to save the day soon.

Chad better get there quick. I cannot imagine Ben being the one to deliver this kid.
Really enjoying Kate M’s performance. Actors must love these kinds of intense scenes I would think.

why didn’t Abby go out the door when Ben left? Did he lock it? If so, she could have climbed out the window–at least before she started having pains. Her wrists were tied together, but she wasn’t shackled to anything that I could see.

it would be safe to assume he locked her in befor leaving this time, since she tried to escape before, but I know what you mean….it’s the little things you need to see for yourself to make the plot work.

were tied to the chair legs which is why they are spread like they are.

But if she’s in labor and Chad delivers a baby that survives, I will throw in the towel. Last month she didn’t even have a baby bump so how can she possible be carrying a viable child such a short time later. Although I said a while back that I didn’t believe she would go full term with this baby.

While we’re on the subject of pregnancy, I’m wondering, has ANY woman on this show ever progressed through a pregnancy without having some kind of excruciating pains? I’ve had four pregnancies with two resulting in miscarriages even, and never had any kind of pains during my nine months, particularly the kind they are portrayed as having. Yet every women on this show will be going along, la-la-la, la-la, and all of a sudden double over with debilitating pain. GMAB

is nothing like the real thing (in fact any birth on TV is far removed from reality!)

Her legs were tied. I saw on today’s show that her legs were tied to what looked like the bed–could have been the chair, though.

Reality is never an issue. Good grief, look how Ciara, Theo and Chase have aged since she conceived. And the fact she can’t get to the bathroom bothers me a lot. But hey, it is a soap, so no one goes and gestation is as long as it needs to be.

she wouldn’t be able to get out if the cabin caught on fire worries me, too!  Oh well…

Kate Mansi is very good at making me anticipate the pain she must be in, the fear of being in actual labor and possibly losing her baby, the stress of being held prisoner by a homicidal maniac, realizing the man whose baby she thinks she’s carrying is a murderer.   About the only thing she hasn’t done to convince me further is not demanding to pee.  Ben is really one crazy bastard!  I hope the climax to his sorry life is that he dies for this and is not just carted off to jail, but not before Chad beats the living hell out of him first.

Chad can’t beat his way out of a wet paper bag. He has proven that time and time again. Everybody he’s ever gotten into a tiff with has beaten the pulp out of him. He will have to hire somebody as a stand-in for him if we want to see that happen.

I can’t imagine him finding Abby tied and shackled to a chair, in premature labor, and not find the strength to kill that s.o.b.
