but, of course, she is numb to the bone right now.  She buried her husband a year ago, practically to the day, and now she will be burying her first-born child, and I think that just hasn’t quite clearly entered her mind yet.  I loved that John hugged her and said "goodnight sweetheart" and telling Marlena he thought Sami was in trouble, and then that last scene with her sitting on the bed and the camera closing in on her gorgeous eyes just screamed total meltdown coming, and I expect we’ll see it very soon.

I also loved that line:  "don’t worry, daddy and I are here to keep the tigers away!"  OMG, that hit me hard as well.  My poor eyes…bloodshot once again today.  Beautiful work by BD and AS.

you described her perfectly; she is an attention grabber who still believes she’s hot.  And the judges just feed her ego.  At least they are sending the right peple home though, and at the right times.  I agree, Paula should be next.  Then it should really tighten up.  I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed Maks guest judging.  Holy cow, he’s a handsome guy.  I just can’t decide whether he is pleased by or politely ignores Bruno pawing all over him (although Maks and polite don’t go together either).  I just really miss him and, although Val is wonderful, I would say Maks is better.  I have to say, the pros on DWTS are simply breathless to watch from week to week.

serious therapy.  The choices she has made for her life and how they turned out for her has to take its toll at some point.  Now she will have a child to care for.  I can see huge problems coming Abbey’s way when she finally realizes she has been living with, sleeping with, and making love to a psychopathic serial killer day after day after day, plus she believes she’s carrying his baby, and that will probably eventually be discovered as well.  It isn’t even about whether or not she is in denial over her deep feelings for Chad, but more about the life choices she has made for herself, especially where men are concerned, and will wind up blaming herself to a degree where she finally snaps at some point.  I mean let’s face it, mental illness does run in her family.  Even if her and Chad eventually get together, which is obviously where these writers are intending ‘Dear Abbey’s’ lovelife to go, I wish they wouldn’t have made her pregnant at this point.  Can you see the fight over this child between the DiMeras and the Hortons?  Abigail has always been a mess to me, and now she will have a child to consider.  Too bad for her, but ask me if I care!  LOL!  The answer is no, but I do not want to see another child growing up carrying the burdens and sins of their parents.  There must be a better way to put some of these younger characters on the right track, so perhaps the writers can begin with Abigail, because she’s going to need more than Jennifer and JJ telling her over and over and over again that "this was not your fault"!!!

Can’t believe this is YOU, TFlo1018.  The biggest complaint is that I have never understood why this show doesn’t do proper research to flush out backstories, and no one has a bigger one than "The Pawn!"  Maybe you don’t want to know, but I sure do.  I will say, though, that once John finds out who he truly is, that will be that with no more changes to this man’s true history.  I know one thing; I’d bet he’s not Forrest Alamain, no matter how much Vivian would swear he is!

Hope having no problem shedding tears was when Zach died.  And I don’t think I’ll ever forget that scream.  The scene must have really affected Kristian.

over and over again.  I do that with my DVR and now I’ll watch this eip again tonight on POP.  What an amazing show, and you’re right, this kind of writing is what truly makes the show great.  The family scenes today were so heart-felt and beautiful.

that Sami was in Chicago ready to come home for a visit, so that makes her time travel reasonable.  She probably drove there from the airport, but I don’t know how she could drive if Lucas told her Will was gone.  I think he just told her that something really bad happened and she needed to come home right away, so maybe she still doesn’t know that Will is dead.

with these new writers.  They have not disappointed me in the least.  I thought Bryan did a good job, but watching the scenes when he showed up at Will’s and couldn’t get the answers he was looking for because it was simply too difficult for Hope or Rafe to simply blurt out, and then him finally realizing Will was murdered, I couldn’t help when he screamed "no, don’t say that to me; that’s my boy; don’t tell me that."  Well, the floodgates just opened in these eyes and the tears were not going to stop throughout the rest of the show.  I wasn’t impressed with Gabi until she had her scene with Ari.  That little girl looking up into her mommy’s face, knowing she was hurting and crying but not realizing why, just tore my heart out.  The actors all seem to have such a wonderful rapport with those little girls playing Ari.  She looks directly at them like they were really family.  I just cannot stop saying enough how I’m loving our show!

if for no other reason than to give John and Marlena the peace of mind he so deserves.  I just hope this is finally all going to come to fruition and we will finally know just who his parents are/were.  Everything about our show is thrilling me to the bone right now.  There’s a lot going on, but I’m absolutely loving it!!!

and then saw the article about Clyde being arrested and sent back to Florida.  That’s how he knew it couldn’t have been Clyde, and it was like that red lightbulb just went off in his head and that’s when he knew it was Ben who was setting him up for the fall.  That’s when he took off and went right over to Ben and Abbey’s place, and when Ben asked, "where in the hell are you, Chad," he shouted, "I’m right here, you S.O.B.  OMG, tomorrow should be earth-shattering, to say the least.  And we haven’t even hit sweeps yet, which won’t start until the last week in October.  I just know I’m in love with this soap again.  Please writers, don’t stop amazing us.

I felt like my heart was ripping right out of my chest.  I cried like I’ve never cried over a soap before.  And they did it so well having practically everyone who loved Will being able to grieve together.  I don’t know why Gabi was left alone, perhaps because she just wanted to pick up Ari.  That little girl looking up into her mother’s face, not realizing what has really happened to her daddy but sensing her mommy was hurt and upset was just an amazing scene.  I’m so glad Abbey left that scum and went to her and Ari, with that lunatic staying behind still trying to convince Abbey that Chad did this horrible crime.  Marlena is simply the best crier in soaps, IMO.  She just had me weeping out loud, and so did Lucas.  Sami, at the end of the show, simply looked like she was in total shock; that it had not sunk in yet.  Hope, Vic, Maggie, Kayla, John, Steve, and yes, poor Sonny, having to get on a plane and come home after planning to get back to Will, was adding to the non-stop tears today.  Congratulations, DOOL!  You did an amazing job today.  If this is truly the beginning of the road ahead, I think I’ll just go out now and grab a carton of tissues, just to be on the safe side.

so far this season, casey. Too many injuries, and way too many penalties for dumb mistakes.  The way we started out that first half yesterday, I couldn’t help but think, "yeah, we’re finally, we’re back!"  Then our defense went back to sleep in the second half, allowing the Browns to quickly catch up and then go ahead.  But, as usual, our old faithful kicker, Justin Tucker, kicked a field goal to tie the game and send us into overtime, only to lose it because Joe Flacco couldnt’ get us down the field in the first play of overtime to let Justin win it for us again, and instead the Browns came back and won it by a field goal of their own (phew, that was a long sentence! LOL).  Anyway, I’m a diehard ‘Raven Maniac’ …. I just don’t know how long I can keep trying to convince myself this just isn’t going to be our year.

One heck of a comback for the Bills yesterday.  I caught some of their game during commercials here, when I always switch over to NFL RedZone to watch how other games are going.  I had to give a thumbs up when just as I switched over at one point the announcer was stating that the Bills only had 81 yeards on the ground and 55 of those were made by Tyrod Taylor.  In any event, it looks like you saw a good game and a great comback.  Might just be the Bills’ year to go to the playoffs.  Much deserved good luck to them.  Still trying to convince myself there’s room for us, but even I have to admit that the window is closing quickly.

Another great day for your Pac as well powerpaw2.  Takes a tipped ball for the great Aaron Rogers to get intercepted.  Pac looks like a winner to me this season.  Congrats to you and casey.  As women who love football, I’m happy for all 3 of our teams, but I need the Ravens to do much better and start turning this season around for us.  I think our owner, Steve Bisciotti, is ready to step in, and he’s always been a "hands off" owner, but he is not a happy one today, I’m sure.

that she is given that E.J. wrote to her before he (supposedly) died, but was (for whatever reason) never given to Sami and winds up with Marlena.  I don’t think there’s any proof to it, but it will be why Sami exits Salem again after Will’s funeral — to chase down what she considers to be some sort of proof (to her at least) that E.J. is alive.  I won’t get my hopes up, since I’m sure the DiMeras will probably be behind this, especially Andre, but I’m hoping at some point, when James Scott is able to find the time to return, that this will be true.  I, for one, love Sami and E.J. and hope they eventually get their HEA before the end of soaps.

disappointing, maybe.  I just don’t think it was anything near what I expected for the killing off of an iconic character who happens to be the first-born child of iconic parents, Lucas and Sami, and that was mainly because there were too many other insignificant scenes with other people’s sls included with Will’s murder.  I did think there were some very good scenes as far as production was concerned, like how the entire murder was seen, and not viewed after it happened, like Serena’s and Paige’s.  I loved that Ben’s face was exposed, and that his actions left no room for doubt, but I did not expect it to affect me as much as it did when Will was actually dying and trying to stop Ben from murdering him, and especially seeing Ben’s face through Will’s eyes and imagining his thoughts as his eyes stared straight into Ben’s and then seeing Will’s vision actually faded to black, indicating he was dead.  Reminded me a little like an Alfred Hitchcock production.  But I think the scene that affected me the most was when Ben actually closed Will’s eyes, so after thinking some more about the murder itself, I guess I think it was done well; it’s what happened after the murder that shocked and disappointed me.  However, all that being said, I even more excited to now sit back and watch the mayhem coming from everyone affected by this murder, which should be the whole damn town.  Sami and Sonny both return next week, so I’m expecting some pretty huge scenes.  I just hope everyone closely connected to Will has their time to share in it as well.  There should be an enormous amout of family togetherness acted out next week, Bradys and Hortons combined, and perhaps the following week as well.  Keep the Theresa/Kate/Nicole Basic Black bull*hit on the back burner, on low for now, and concentrate on the death of this legendary character and his family, which, if done right, could easily take a couple of weeks to get through.  That would be my hope, anyway!
