I guess Sami is going to play it more shocked at first.  I thought Gabi and Rafe did a good job.  Hope as well.  Lucas was weird.  Didn’t seem sincere.

I really don’t like this whole Victor Caroline thing.  I like the friendship and shared family angle but I don’t want anyone messing with his relationship with Maggie!  Besides Doug and Julie it’s the only relatively healthy relationship on the show.

Seems like the drugs amped up Caroline’s psychic powers!  If only someone had predicted this! ;)

I loved the ending and really want Chad to kick Ben’s ass although it’s definitely not in his best interest to do this.  If the Salem PD wasn’t such a joke the forensics in this case should point right to Ben.  They already know the body was moved.  Also what happened to all the wedding stuff Ben dumped all over???

his reactions were all over the place. And if you’ve just been given shocking news, you may be like that- at least I was. So I thought he did a great job. Hope kills me though, her facial expressions are on point, but that woman cannot shed a tear to save her life.

True.  Hope can’t get a tear out ever.  I see what they were going for with Lucas I just wasn’t buying his performance.

Seriously, when last was Days this compelling? I just love the pace – including Sami apparently landing in Salem via Star Trek’s Transporter! I disagree only somewhat with Brian’s performance which I base a bit on some disjointed dialog which could simply come from shock.
I brought up the Vic/Caroline thing some time ago as perhaps having an affect on Maggie and it looks maybe headed that way. I do not anticipate however, anything drastic coming of it. I do think maybe when Bo gets home it will temporarily draw V&C together even more.
It does seem like it’s now mamma Caroline who has that special connection with Bo. I do wonder though if her “psychic powers” are just that or in fact an effect of the drug?
Finally, Salem’s keystone cops are such a joke!

with these new writers.  They have not disappointed me in the least.  I thought Bryan did a good job, but watching the scenes when he showed up at Will’s and couldn’t get the answers he was looking for because it was simply too difficult for Hope or Rafe to simply blurt out, and then him finally realizing Will was murdered, I couldn’t help when he screamed "no, don’t say that to me; that’s my boy; don’t tell me that."  Well, the floodgates just opened in these eyes and the tears were not going to stop throughout the rest of the show.  I wasn’t impressed with Gabi until she had her scene with Ari.  That little girl looking up into her mommy’s face, knowing she was hurting and crying but not realizing why, just tore my heart out.  The actors all seem to have such a wonderful rapport with those little girls playing Ari.  She looks directly at them like they were really family.  I just cannot stop saying enough how I’m loving our show!

get these young young actors to be believable? There was only one kid – was it Sydney -? that was a poker face. Otherwise kudos to the casting people for finding these performers.

Hope having no problem shedding tears was when Zach died.  And I don’t think I’ll ever forget that scream.  The scene must have really affected Kristian.

Hope was never a good crier – I agree with those posts!!!

Bryan did an okay job – I often wonder if actors won’t let themselves get there, especially if they have kids in real life.  He didn’t convince me – except for when he broke down with Hope.  In front of the apt. I was kinda like "meh."

Marlena convinced me – as did Sonny.

Today WAS huge – we had a major player knocked off.  That is always compelling – and Sami is gonna be a on a RAMPAGE!!!!  I love the zombie look Ali had – totally the way to play it.  And I love she was sorta without makeup.  Ali was always great for playing scenes they way they SHOULD be played – even back to the execution scenes.

that Caroline is getting too much  attention.  I feel for Maggie because Victor is spending a lot of time with Caroline.  There was a lot of things that went on with Caroline  through the past years.  She was no saint.

Next:  This murder mystery is getting to be over done.  Miss Abigail is so stupid, she has no clue about what is going on with Ben.  I certainly hope he gets put in jail and possibly in prison, and I know he will blame it all on Chad and he will defend his creepy daddy who should be locked up for a lifetime.

Abby is uneasy with Ben but in denial. I can only see his end resulting in death.

I thought Hope’s reaction was weird. She couldn’t muster any emotion. I thought Lucas did a great job. He made me tear up. I thought the thing with Chad and Ben was a dream, but I’m guessing now that it isn’t. I wonder how Chad figured it out and how he knew Abigail wouldn’t be there.

serious therapy.  The choices she has made for her life and how they turned out for her has to take its toll at some point.  Now she will have a child to care for.  I can see huge problems coming Abbey’s way when she finally realizes she has been living with, sleeping with, and making love to a psychopathic serial killer day after day after day, plus she believes she’s carrying his baby, and that will probably eventually be discovered as well.  It isn’t even about whether or not she is in denial over her deep feelings for Chad, but more about the life choices she has made for herself, especially where men are concerned, and will wind up blaming herself to a degree where she finally snaps at some point.  I mean let’s face it, mental illness does run in her family.  Even if her and Chad eventually get together, which is obviously where these writers are intending ‘Dear Abbey’s’ lovelife to go, I wish they wouldn’t have made her pregnant at this point.  Can you see the fight over this child between the DiMeras and the Hortons?  Abigail has always been a mess to me, and now she will have a child to consider.  Too bad for her, but ask me if I care!  LOL!  The answer is no, but I do not want to see another child growing up carrying the burdens and sins of their parents.  There must be a better way to put some of these younger characters on the right track, so perhaps the writers can begin with Abigail, because she’s going to need more than Jennifer and JJ telling her over and over and over again that "this was not your fault"!!!

Chad saw the report saying that Will was murdered and he knew Clyde was in jail.  He then figured out who else would want to frame him and he went right to Ben’s apartment.  I don’t think he cared at all if Abigail was there or not.
