Participantthat this is all Griffith/Millstein’s stories. Higley may be back, but she returned in February, and since this damn show still seems to air 5-6 months after taping, this means Dena’s stories won’t air until mid-late summer. I would imagine Griffith’s heart just wasn’t in it to win it! LOL!

ParticipantJust more propping for the possibility of a Chad/Ciara eventual pairing, which is ridiculous!

Participantthe way they are writing Victor, I have to wonder if JA is going to be one of the cast members next retiring, and by retiring meaning is Vic giong to die? I hope not, because I sure do love me some cranky, snarky, greatest one-liner of the day Victor Kiriakis.

Participantthat’s the word I was looking for…."fake"; that’s exactly how Ginger appears to me to be. She’s so use to being before the camera with her role on GMA’s weather girl, she’s use to putting it on a little thick, IMO. Yes, she’s a good dancer, but I’m not rooting for her to win. I liked Wanya as well. I was sorry to see him go.

Participantbut Ginger and her husband both come on a little too strong for my taste. Seems like she’s a little too full of herself. shrug!

Participantand that’s probably all there is to that! From what I can tell from watching today, the outbreak sl is over. What a mess!

Participantbut I think people can masquerade that there is a problem, unless they are stumbling all over themselves, which she’s not doing. Having access to the pills are the reason why it can’t be detected. So is she getting high on her own supply; is she stealing drugs from the hospital? I can’t imagine any doctor would keep her on opiates without putting her through tests to show why she still needs them. That being said, as long as she has continued access to the pills, she won’t show any symptoms associated with withdrawal.

Participantbut his acting is as atrocious to me as Vivian Jovanni’s Ciara Brady. Paige Searcy, who plays Jade, however, is much better in her role. Yes, she seems to be steering Joey into trouble, but they have plenty of room for redemption in her character, unlike Jen Lilley’s Theresa, who will never be redeemable to me.

ParticipantJennifer’s addiction problem for May sweeps. She’s still in denial and still lying her way out of it when anyone tosses an accusation her way. If she’s been going to "meetings" as she told Chad, why have we not seen that? She definitely kows she has a problem.

Participantwhat I don’t like is Fynn coming between Kayla and Steve, which obviously is what these writers are doing. If Kayla wants to be with someone other than Steve, then so be it; but don’t spoil a character like Dr. Fynn by having him appear to be an interloper just because Kayla can’t make up her mind whether or not she still loves Steve. I happen to like the actor who plays Dr. Fynn, and think he’s quite handsome. If she’s going to return Fynn’s advances, then do it and let’s move on in that direction. Maybe if they’d clean Steve up a little, I’d feel differently about this; but…… I’m just getting so disgusted with the pacing of DOOL right now. Seems like it’s a jumbled mess right now, with too much going on at once, yet going nowhere in particular.

Participantis regarding replacing a soap character. I mean, KM is/was good in the role of Abigail, but only since BF came on the scene. To me, their chemistry is what’s making it so hard for them to find a replacement???? That’s ridiculous. And they wonder why actors get swelled heads??? This needs to stop! KM has been gone since December, for goodness sake. Let’s move on because this writing and the carelessness of who’s behind the wheel and who’s not is becoming dangerous for this soap. It almost appears like SOMEBODY behind the scenes is intentionally trying to tank this show, and IMHO they are succeeding, because lately I just tape it and watch what I want when I want. Too bad!

Participantwhat it is yet, but the outbreak affecting so many others would or should indicate a serious contamination that is obviously highly contageous, so I’m guessing we’ll soon see the quarantine, but probably too late. What I don’t like is that people who have been affected so far, like Abi and Paul and Ari, but not people they have been in direct contact with, like J.J., the rest of the Hernandez family, John, Marlena, etc., but perhaps their immune systems were stronger. Idk, but so far I’m liking the outbreak story. And seeing as how the first person to get sick was Paul, I’m guessing this all reverts back to John’s father and whatever it was he did to Paul. Plus, seeing as how I don’t care for stories that are dragged on forever, I’m hoping a cure is somewhere in the near future.

ParticipantIt was determined long ago that Aiden was brought to Salem by Stefano and Andre to dupe Hope and to distract her from going after Bo, so in a sense, for me, that was reason enough to believe that Aiden Jennings was not a "good" guy. He was being used as a pawn by the DiMeras, who threatened him with his son, but that does not excuse that he allowed it to happen; even went so far as to change Hope’s beneficiary on her insurance policy (which I’m sure can not even be done the way it was portrayed), did agree to kill Hope, and was instructed to marry Hope and then murder her, which, up until the very last minute, he was perfectly willing to do. Now, suddenly, there’s a double once again; the DiMeras are the true villains, and the real Aiden is once again a good guy who still loves Hope. PA-LEEEAAASSSEE!!! I have seen enough to know when I have seen enough!!!
