     I really might have to consider quitting.  That would be disgraceful.  Might as well resurrect JER.

     I agree with ta143.  I don’t see anything wrong with Kayla’s concerns, not just over what happened to Caroline.  I have a feeling that would have happened on its own, without any help from Kayla or anyone else.  She’s been acting like a lunatic of late, and it’s been building for some time in her to explode.  But I think Kayla’s concerns for her daughter’s reasoning for hiding the truth from Nathan should be something any mother would worry about.  She’s been down that road with Steph where she’s had to face disappointment, and as her mother she does not want to see her child begin a marriage with what is basically a lie.  Stephanie lied to Kayla’s face yesterday by telling her she, herself, didn’t change the test results and was not responsible.  Maybe she herself didn’t, but she had Ian change it, so she’s as guilty as Caroline in my eyes.  I kinda’ feel sorry for Kayla.  She’s damned if she does, and damned if she don’t …… somewhere between a rock and a hard place.  I don’t think she gives a flying fruit basket for the likes of Chloe, Philip, Melanie, or anyone else except her child, who, when the smoke clears, will once again have won the battle (for now), but will eventually have lost the war.  I don’t think she’s being nosey, or being a busy-body, as everyone seems to feel.  I also think that as a doctor, Kayla now realizes that her own mother and daughter have taken it upon themselves to make the unethical decision to play God with a child’s life just so they could clear the way for their own happiness.

     so does Treadway.  He will be going down and out.  What will this mean for Jennifer?  Nothing, I hope.  Why can’t they just let two strong women on this show (Jennifer and Carly) have a story line without having to be connected to a man, whether he’s already married to someone else or not? I know lots of people hate Carly, but I think CC is a terrific actress and I know they have her teaming up with Jennifer and Hope to help rescue Bo. That could be interesting.  Guess I’ll have to reserve judgment for now.

     the one where she told Phil, "Manipulating Chloe to cheat is like manipulating a dog to eat a hamburger."

     no tests for viability, no tests for disease, just get it here, now.  Boy, they (TIIC) really showed poor writing with whoever came up with that idea.  I really hope that Ken Corday takes another good, long look at this writing staff.  I know Dena Higley doesn’t pay much attention to what is being written, and never watches the shows, but Corday will undoubtedly be a laughing stock in the industry long after soaps are gone for some of these plot-driven story lines.

    and what was with the little dickey collar?  Unusual.  Not for my tastes, no thank you DOOL.  As beautiful a girl as Shelly is, you would think wardrobe would have come up with something equally exquisite.  Can’t stand Stephanie, but the girl, herself, is lovely.

     the turquoise nail polish, I wanted to set her on fire.  I usually don’t mind what Kate wears, because she’s hip and cool, but that get-up was hideous.

     also, have you ever noticed that they all use the same one or two cell phones as well?  They should buy some different covers for them to at least make them look like they’re different phones.  Also, has anyone EVER seen a television set in any of their homes or apartments?  If they have, I can’t recall who?  I don’t even think they have one at the pub, and show me a bar that doesn’t have a TV!  LOL.

     being written out only for 4 months.  No explanations why.  Maybe he just can’t take it and simply decides to take Mel’s advice and go to Baltimore, alone —- but at some point returns.

    cause these little guys sure do know how to steal the show anytime they’re on.  His story line right now may be a heartbreaker, but I just love watching these kids act.  Those dimples yesterday just about melted me.

     and he has, without a doubt to me, made her a better person.  All this time E.J. has been telling that innocent little boy that his mother did not want him, that she wanted him to live with E.J., that she wanted Rafe now and not Johnny, while Sami has never, ever one time said that to Johnny.  She may have said some awful things to E.J. before the wormed turned in his favor where Johnny and Sydney were concerned, but she never told the children that their father didn’t want them or love them; just the opposite, she tells Johnny that for a while he’s going to live with daddy and that he should take care of daddy, and that his daddy loves him very much.  That to me was a huge improvement over the old Sami, but I have to admit, I do like her standing up for herself to E.J., and that Rafe just sits back and allows her to ‘get it out,’ regardless of how smug E.J. is with her.  Rafe is the best thing ever to happen to Sami.  I hope they last forever, but knowing these writers, I’m sure they’ll find some way to spoil it ….. BUT NOT WITH E.J. PLEASE!

     how else will her and Nathan be the end game, and I think that’s the writers’ plan;

    As for Ben, I don’t think he’s completely innocent, because he’s still involved in organ trafficking.  I just don’t know if he is aware that they are killing inmates to secure their organs.  But, Stefano sure does.

     if Stephanie causes Mel to lose her baby, that would be a blessing for the child (the baby, of course, not Melanie).  Besides, another pregnancy is not what I want to see right now, especially with Melanie.  Can you imagine what we would have to go through for the next 8 to 10 months, depending on MB’s acting like a 13-year old carrying a kid.  Uggghhhh, please, no.

    I think you’re right about Bo blurting out that he still loves Hope.  That’s the first thing I thought of when I read it, and of course Carly will be hiding somewhere off in the distance listening.  Why else would it matter?

    I thought it would be Stefano and not Dr. Ben who was the ring-master behind the organ thefts at the prison.  The warden had absolutely no patience or respect when it came to Ben’s calls to her, so I knew he wasn’t the boss of the operation, just the recipient of the goods.  Stefano, on the other hand, is supposed to turn mean again and once again become the Stefano of old, which is fine with me so long as it doesn’t involve possession, mind-altering chips, or any other sci-fi moments we had to endure throughout Stefano’s history.  I’m more interested in seeing him go up against E.J. where Chad is concerned.  Another reason I suspected Stefano was when E.J. was on his deathbed after the shooting, on life support, with no brain activity.  Why weren’t they discussing donating any of his organs when Sami had the machines turned off?  I suspected right then and there that Stefano was Ben’s boss.  Guess they dumped the evil twin storyline that they had originally planned for Ben.

    Nathan dumping Steph is an "IT’S ABOUT TIME" moment for me.  So, who will be her next victim?  Rafe’s brother, maybe?  Whoever it is, I hope to hell they leave it alone and either let this girl be happy or cut her loose.  I still say bring back Owen, the Kiriakis gardner who kidnapped her.  He at least really loved her, and psycho or not, he was hot.

     You’re right, Casey, it’s exactly like America’s Got Talent.  Too many acts doing the same type of dance with too many dancers is not interesting to me either.  They’re either trying to imitate Michael Jackson, or they’re doing gymnastic moves.  Also, I can’t get interested in a show when the contestants range in age from two to toothless.  God, I felt sorry for the girl who landed on her head the other night.  That bump on her noggin’ looked serious.  She had to have a concussion.  Too bad, but I don’t see a future for this show where the judges are as boring as some of the contestants either.  "Three Red Stars."

     I remember her going back to St. Mary’s and having a conversation with the nun and then, when the nun left the room, Carly went back into the computer, and seeing the results that Daniel was not the questionable bio-dad, she changed a few keystrokes, and said something which I now can’t remember the exact line, but something along the lines of "there, it’s fixed."  Of course, she didn’t know the truth about Phillip.  Nobody knew that until Stephanie hid out in the closet.
