except maybe when she was pregnant. Ali looks like a stick on TBL, but she always looks gorgeous to me. There are certain days when her DOOL wardrobe doesn’t suit me, but aside from that, anytime I see her on a talk show, a game show, a commercial, or one of the many shows she seems to be asked to do, she looks lean, fit and trim, and I know she works out every day, because she has posted on twitter and other sites how vigorously she trains every day, and to me it shows. Guess beauty IS in the eye of the beholder.

I think he said something like, "why wouldn’t I, I love you," or maybe it was simply, "that’s because I love you," but I do remember he told her there that he loved her. Now, I think they are both being cautiously optimistic about their reuniting. I really liked the way they seem to be taking it slow and not rushing right back into a smoldering lovefest, sex and all. They still have a lot of issues to iron out, and I like the way the writers are paying attention to their past misguided trust and, realizing that they have both made mistakes that they will have to work through together in order to regain that trust and believe in their love once again. I truly liked it when Hope held out her hand and introduced herself as Hope Williams, and Bo taking her hand and saying ‘Bo Brady.’ Then he followed it by ‘would you like to go out sometime?’, to which Hope replied ‘call me.’ It showed how sincere they both were to restart what they both already know they have, a broken love, but not one that can’t be fixed. I think PR and KA are doing a super job, and (I can’t believe I’m saying this), good work writers for taking it slow with this super-couple.
I can only conclude they were not happy with NL’s acting, because she certainly paired well as far as looking the part of Nicole’s sister. It certainly can’t be because the fans didn’t like her. After all, we all know they care nothing about what we think. I was hoping above all that she would have me second-guessing my hatred of the character of E.J. the way he is now by possibly humanizing him through Taylor. Guess the redemption of E.J. is not in their plans after all; however, I’ll keep my eyes glued now to James’ contract expiration, because I think if he isn’t satisfied, he’ll walk. In any event, I do like Tamara Braun and thought she did a good job portraying Ava Vitali, although I hated her with NuJohn. Boy, TPTB got rid of Natalia faster than they did the actress who originally came in as Ariana Hernandez, followed by Lindsay Hartley, who, by the way, is a huge success on AMC. Looks like Dorothy Gale was right …. "people come and go so quickly here."
in that what a perfectly cast sister to Nicole and brother to E.J. They certainly do look like brothers and sisters. I thought Nicole looked beautiful, and that Royal Blue color certainly complimented Taylor. E.J. and Chad, head to toe delicious; however, I didn’t like E.J.’s scruff. He should have been clean-shaven. Lexie … my God, the woman doesn’t age. She’s absolutely gorgeous. Kate and Stefano even looked elegant, for as elegant as either of them can appear to be, anyway. I didn’t see Chloe, either, so I’m guessing something happened that made her go off again, or maybe even worse. She may already have had her ‘complete’ breakdown and shipped off to a sanitarium. I don’t see any other reason for her to be excluded from the wedding photos. Last, but certainly not least, the children looked adorable; but, what happened to Johnny’s eyepatch? I haven’t read anything about him getting a prosthetic eye, but he definitely did not have his eyepatch on in tht photo, even thou we were viewing his right side. You still would have seen the band from the eyepatch around his head. Anyway, beautiful, and thanks, daysfanforever, for posting these.

even watching him thunderstruck by Taylor. And, why shouldn’t he be; she (Natalia) looked beautiful, and I liked them today much more than I thought I would. I see more disaster headed Nicole’s way, and Stefano made sure he rubbed it in. But, boy-oh-boy, he sure does know Nicole. Too bad that she will once again be in competition winning E.J.’s love, only this time with her own sister. I think I am really more anxious than I thought I would be to see how this whole thing turns out.
but these judges seem to be genuinely concerned in the talents, especially the younger ones. They appeared to all be overwhelmed with the talent displayed by the 15-year olds. As a matter of fact, they were uncharacteristically praised by these judges, and encouraged more than discouraged. I just can’t say enough about this panel of judges. They are, indeed, a "class act" themselves.
(yes, she was a Valentine’s Day baby) and she is so excited. So, we are taking her out to dinner shortly. I realize it’s a school night, but you only turn into a full-fledged teenager once in your life, so we decided to let her pick her favorite place to dine. No pizza parlor for this one; she picked a wonderful Japanese steak-house where the chef prepares the meal right in front of you. We called ahead and they are preparing a special treat for her. My son got her 13 long-stemmed red roses, so I know she will be thrilled with that. Anyway, Happy Valentine’s Day to All my Salem friends.
stated that he did not like the way the writing was portraying E.J., and brings up the rape story line, which he said he hated, and had long discussions with the writers and KC about it. Evidently, he lost because, they did it anyway. Then recently he stated that the writing was "f…ing stupid (and yes, he swears when he gets frustrated in interviews), when he was referring to the Sydney kidnapping, not the one by Nicole, but the one which he masterminded using Anna. He was especially appalled where he had to do the scene with putting the baby’s bloody clothes in the river. He said it was wrong and that he did not feel comfortable doing it. Now, he aggressively fends off interviewers who bring up the rape storyline and says that he and TPTB have gotten over it, and so should everyone else. To that I say, you are probably right, James; however, gone is not forgotten. Needless to say, I feel strongly that this could very well be his reasoning to give up acting and move back to either England or perhaps New Zealand, and not be an actor any longer. This part is purely my own speculation, and I think a lot of it is going to depend on his redemption by falling in love with the character of Taylor. JMHO there.
until she decided to leave Parker home alone. No one does that, depression or not. No, I’m afraid Chloe is simply just a bad mother, and whoever posted it before, true. This is not the first time Chloe has been deficient in the mommy department. She could not stand to watch Allie, even for a few minutes. When she did put on a happy face for her, it was simply to fool Lucas into believing that she loved Allie being with them. No, I cannot believe her depression has anything to do with Parker, but all about losing Daniel. I’m just afraid it’s only going to get worse for Parker and for Chloe in the coming weeks. Thank God Parker does have Maggie right now. It amazes me how much Mel and Kate think they can just "take" Parker, as they would have no legal right to take him. That would be strictly up to Philip, and the way he feels about Kate right now, I don’t think she will be the one he would choose, but he may just decide to dangle him like a carrot in front of Melanie hoping she would decide to come back to him and raise Parker if Chloe is deemed incompetent. Sad, all the way around, but if these Salem men can’t keep it zipped, and the women don’t learn to keep their legs crossed, this kind of predicament will continue, and frankly soaps need to find some new avenues of entertainment. The same seven or eight plots or SL’s are getting so damn old. It’s not fun or enjoyment anymore when you can predict what’s in store for any character at any time, from sweeps to sweeps (more like "weeps.")
that this farce is merely a prop to redeem E.J. If Nicole gets hurt in the process, it’s her own fault for her own choice. She had a good man in Brady, who now has turned hard and callous himself due to Nicole dumping him, so this is going to happen simply to prove that E.J. can be humanized. My question will then be, what about the Rafe2 story line? If E.J. loses interest in Rafe and Sami because he will fall so madly in love with Taylor and want to "change" for her, that will certainly throw a wrench in their plans for Rafe and Sami. Stefano can’t stand Nicole, so he may just welcome Taylor into E.J.’s life; however, If Taylor is such a good, sweet, kind girl who will make E.J. "see the light," so to speak, how will this turn out, not only for Nicole, but for Rafe and Sami as well? Lots of people will be affected by this plot, all to pimp the redemption of E.J. It’s either redeem him or kill him off, because too many people despise his atrocious attitude now. Hell, James himself might have had a hand in this story-dictated plot to make him a better character. I mean, he’s been complaining about the (meaning "his") writing for quite some time now, and I think TPTB are afraid he will decide to quit acting, as he has openly contemplated, at the end of his contract (May 2011), soooooo, if he can’t at least be made somewhat human again, it is not inconceivable to me that this is nothing more than the result of "my way or the highway" for Mr. Scott.
Chloe was going to come around today, pick herself up by her bootstraps, and realize ‘the hell with you, Daniel’, what’s important here is Parker, she goes and does the unforgivable … she leaves her infant alone in his crib (was it in the kitchen???) with the OVEN on. Melanie or no Melanie, that might just seal Chloe’s fate when, surely, either Kate or Melanie will find out about it. Hope Parker will be okay. That smoke looked pretty heavy around him.
busted apart; but, it was his own fault. He took a bad song and made it worse. Like Randy told him, one chance and one chance only. He knew that going in and still chose a song that just did not benefit his talent in the amount of time allotted. Too bad, because that young man could sing. In any case, the ones who got through deserved to be there, so I’m looking forward to the rest of the Hollywood auditions. Once again, can’t say enough about how much better these judges are than their predecessors.
and I can’t wrap my head around these writers for doing it. Not only is E.J. portrayed as more despicable than I ever believed him to be (and I thought I couldn’t possibly hate him more than in the past), but this sudden turn-around he is supposed to have that he will ‘see the light’ once he gets hit with cupid’s arrow the first time he lays eyes on Taylor (laughing up sleeve) is just too much to swallow. I wouldn’t even be surprised if he doesn’t pull her into his scheme somehow. Now, R2 has Brady suspicious of his mannerisms as well. How many people will it take to see through this guy and put 2 and 2 together before I have any hair left on my head? I thought it was a good move when real Rafe made R2 stop and think about what they were going to do with him once this was over. Maybe he will be the one to reveal the truth, but if in fact this SL continues through late spring, I have to wish, more than ever before, that the DiMeras are on their way out. Every time E.J. or Stefano comes downstairs and gets close enough to those bars on that cell, I keep hoping that once Rafe regains his strength, he will reach through, grab them, and bash their brains in against the very bars that hold him prisoner. As for E.J.’s reasonings for even doing this in the first place, it’s always been my belief that it has nothing to do with his children, but simply that he hates Rafe for winning his fair ‘Samanther’ and nothing else. He is determined to destroy any chance she has at happiness, and this is one time when karma cannot come knocking at the DiMeras door soon enough for me.
