he has a great voice, and even though he was a bit ‘odd’, I thought surely he would make it.

try all the way up to MAY sweeps.  Jason 47 has them still sharing scenes in mid-April, so the belief is that this horrific SL won’t wrap up til’ late spring.  (Kill me now, please)!!!

I’ve been calling that kid "J.T." when his name is "Jaycee."  Duh, Patti.  Thanks for the head’s up, Casey.

I completely forgot it was on last night.  Hopefully they will re-run it.

Rooms 1 and 4 went through; rooms 2 and 3 went home.  I think he was in room #1.

was okay, but I really was surprised they cut the tall, very pretty girl with the ponytail.  She sang much much better than any of them with her solo.  Of course, JMO.  I thought that country boy with the deep voice truly was sorry that his group cut J.T., but then humbly cried about it and said he was sorry he didn’t take up for him.  Nice gesture on his part.  Ashley is okay, but my God that girl’s a nervous wreck before and after her performances.  I don’t know how she makes it through a song.  I really don’t think she will have the stamina to go far; she’s just doesn’t seem to have any confidence in herself, and on this show they really have to hold it together.  The group that did cut J.T. were good, especially the guy with the glasses, who I thought would be the best, UNTIL the black guy at the end changed it up and demonstrated a talent above and beyond.  I’m predicting he’ll go far in this competition.  He’s composed, smooth, and his voice has a range that’s unbelievable.  He went from the highest high to the lowest low with seemingly no effort whatsoever.  Great show.

why Johnny wasn’t wearing his eye patch in the wedding pictures was revealed.  He’s having his eye implant tomorrow (of course, in Salem time that might be next week).  I’m so glad about that; looked to me like that poor little guy was really irritated with that patch.  He’s always grabbing at it or moving it.  Must cause him some discomfort to wear it.

so I’m not surprised, but she certainly is spreading herself thin in her appearances of late.  Don’t know how she does it, but I still enjoy watching her outside of DOOL.

by the actors themselves, along with a tape of their work.  Then I would suppose the pre-noms would be where one or two (possibly three) will be selected by the nominating committee to go forward.  When it comes down to the final nominations, they are lucky if they have one, let alone two, nominees from each category representing each soap actually up for the Emmy.

just as quickly forgotten.  She didn’t have a bad voice, but she was definitely NOT what she thought she was.  Lots of great groups last night, but lots of disasters as well.  Let me know what you think after you watch, Nora.  I’ll be interested to here what you think about J.T., the sweet, little baby-faced 15-year old, who has a great voice going for him, but not much else.  I just love that kid’s voice.  Lots and lots and lots of tears last night, but the ones who made it through deserved to go on.  Some great talent this year, that’s for sure.  Casey, you were so right-on about The Minors.  Every singly one of those kids will go far.  They are confident and very polished for 15-16 year olds.  Loved them to death.

and Rafe gives him a good ass-whippin’ when his disgusting story line is over, I could give a crap about who he marries.  Hell, it could be Mary for all I care.

will turn out to be Daniel’s, and Mel will lose her and Philip’s baby, which will send Philip into a tailspin, losing everything he once had, and now just can’t take it any longer, and simply leaves Salem (open door possibilty for return at some point).  I just hope he gives Kate a swift kick before he goes.

to be in Nicole’s and E.J.’s wedding, because she’ll be in the hospital.  I’m so happy that Philip recognizes that Kate is to blame.  I hate Melanie’s going along with Kate to gain custody of Parker, but also to dupe Philip into believing she wants to get back together with him, but that her subsequent plan, instigated by Kate, is to take Parker away from Cloe, and still dump Philip.  Well, little girl, karma is sweet, and you know what they say about paybacks.  You’ve got it coming, as well.

whether she will still be as syrupy sweet as she is now, which I doubt, but at this particular time she knows nothing of E.J., except what she has heard from her mother.  I find that laughable as well, since she told Nikki that she got pictures and tapes from mom (Faye), and with all of the news on the Sydnapping splattered over the internet and in the media, she did not know what E.J. DiMera looked like.  Now, that’s lazy writing.  No, make it stupid … yeah, I’ll stick with that.  As for barging in on Nicole, I think she simply does not want to leave Salem (although she has tried) she honestly doesn’t want to go until she makes things right with her sister.  Now that Nicole has relented and asked her to be in her wedding, Taylor seems to be so happy about it that she feels she’s trying to stay as close to Nicole as possible for fear she may change her mind, and yes, I would think she is hoping to meet her sister’s fiance, the infamous E.J. Dimera.  Boy, is she in for a surprise.
